Yes, this is about the “REAL” Rapture of His saints and it NEEDS to be read by all that put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ including pastors and teachers of all size churches and denominations. What you are about to read is not the teaching or doctrine of any church denomination; it is the teaching of the Word of God. When it comes to the teachings of what will take place during the last times and end of days you are going to have to make a choice between what they are telling you and what the Word of God actually says. You have not heard or read what you are about to read in this post, but it is 100% Biblical. You may not agree with what you read because it is new to you, so it is urgent that you do the research now as there is very little time left, before our Lord returns for those that are ready. Do not take this lightly, as later you will be shown the proof of this, straight from the Word of God.
Just as the 7 year tribulation period is misunderstood and misconstrued by our current day teachings, the same is the case in regard to the Rapture of His saints and what you have been taught concerning it. Our teachers have made their doctrine fit and sound good, and they truly are what they believe, but they are severly lacking in substance to the point they should not receive a passing grade. This is mainly due to a “built-in” replacement theology, which can only lead to an extremely few number of souls being accounted worthy when the “appointed time” of the Rapture occurs during the “Feast of Trumpets.”
What is meant by “built-in replacement theology”? A number of denominations correctly teach that when Christ becomes your Lord and Savior you are adopted into the family of God. This is true, but many do not know what family that is and a much larger number know practically nothing concerning the religious beliefs and customs of the family they are adopted into. It’s also correctly taught that when you accept Christ as your Savior you are “grafted in” to the olive tree which represents the House of Israel and House of Judah in the Bible. This part of the doctrine is correctly taught, but very few actually understand what this adoption involves or how it should be applied. Even the few that do know what it means do not apply it when studying or teaching what the Bible says. Here is what is meant by this.
We have a tendency: no, not just a tendency, we look at everything through our own eyes or the eyes of the culture we were raised in. We lose sight of the fact that the Word of God came to us through the bloodline of Abraham, which later became the House of Israel until God split the Olive tree of Israel into two houses; the House of Israel and the House of Judah. If you do not belong to one of these two houses, you will receive no inheritance, because there is no “House of Gentiles.” (This will be further explained a little later in this post.)
Because we see through Gentile eyes, we lose sight of the fact that Christ was a Jew. We largely ignore the Old Testament and we do all our interpreting of the Bible through “Gentile Eyes.” (Even though we are not supposed to be Gentiles anymore.) It’s no wonder we have misinterpreted and do not understand a number of teachings in God’s Word. When we come to a verse we do not understand, oftentimes we do not consider looking for the answer somewhere else in the Word of God; instead, we come up with our own interpretation which seems to fit and that becomes what it is. Believe it or not, this is a very major problem and examples of it can be found almost any and everywhere when you’re dealing with Biblical eschatology. Even the ones doing the modern Bible translating have replaced God’s words with words that fit their Gentile denominational beliefs rather than the words God intended to be there. Because of our Gentile eyes, we now have a man-made 7 year tribulation period which leaves everyone arguing about and nobody knowing when our Lord is going to return. If we knew the family we were adopted into we would know that it is the Feasts of the Lord, which our Lord gave to His chosen people, that reveal to us the appointed meeting times between God and man. He gave these Feasts so we could know what He’s going to do; so that we could know what He expects of us and so we could even know the day and hour to be expecting Him. You will soon see how this can be easily and clearly demonstrated.
John 15:15 (KJV)
Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.
Because of our Gentile eyes, we do not see that the “Rapture,” which can also be referred to as the Wedding of the Lamb, will be in the format of a Jewish wedding ceremony. Knowing this fact alone would tell you much about how the Rapture will take place. It would tell you it will not be a “could happen at any moment event” because Jewish weddings occur at a set time that is planned in advance. If you are grafted into the Olive tree you should already know this wedding will take place at night.
Knowing the Rapture of His saints will be patterned after the Jewish wedding ceremony will also help you understand the itinerary of the wedding and that there will be things expected of you if you are going to take part in it.
In the very near future, a cry will go out around the midnight hour. All that place their faith and trust in the Holy One of Israel are going to hear it. We know this because in the Parable of the 10 Virgins both the wise and foolish virgins were awakened when the cry went out at midnight. This presents the first problem for the church of today because almost nobody in the churches of today has a clue how or when the Rapture is going to occur. It would be a very safe bet that most will be caught sleeping in bed and probably will not even be sure of what it was that woke them up. This is why you need to read this post. If you don’t, the cry will go out and you will be left standing where you are wondering “what’s going on,” or “why am I still here?” You will be one of the foolish virgins that came afterward “saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.” Matthew 25:11 (KJV) After a while you will realize that you have been left behind, “with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” (Matthew 24:51)
This post is written with sincere prayer and hope that it may benefit you and encourage you to do the needed research immediately so that when the time comes our Lord does not say “I don’t know you.” It is done so that when the time comes you have the information you need so “that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.”
What is the Basis for these Bold Statements?
The reasons for this title are numerous. If Christ’s disciples of today were believers of only a few false teachings, it may be that our merciful Lord would still “account” them worthy to be raptured into His presence. But the false teachings of today are numerous, and the church of today does not take our Lord at His Word. They don’t know what He expects of them, neither do they know what He told them He is going to do. The situation is much like it was when Christ was here the first time. When our Lord told His apostles the things that were going to happen to Him, they did not comprehend it. This is the very same condition of the church of today. The church of today does not study, teach, or preach His Word because in many instances they don’t even have it. The new Bible translations are deeply flawed to the point they are interpretations and not translations. This leaves their readers with the words of men and not the Word of God. In other cases, they have the Word of God, but instead of studying what the Word of God says, they teach what others say, whether it be the scholars of today or the ones of the past, again substituting the word of man for the Word of God. Our Lord Jesus Christ also told His present-day disciples what He is going to do, but the church of today has no idea what that is and are actually so void of the truth that they actually teach that no one can know these things.
Our Lord tells us in Isaiah 46:9-13 (KJV)
9 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, 10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure: 11 Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it. 12 Hearken unto me, ye stouthearted, that are far from righteousness: 13 I bring near my righteousness; it shall not be far off, and my salvation shall not tarry: and I will place salvation in Zion for Israel my glory.
Somehow we forgot about the things He has told us from the beginning. In order to know the end, you must know what He tells us in the beginning. In His Word, He gave us vital information we would need even before He created us, but we have not thought to look there. He has provided us everything we need to know of the things to come, but we have not taken Him at His Word and there will be a high price to pay for our unbelief. This is one of the reasons why our Lord has stated in His Word that the church of today will not be raptured when the trumpet sounds; when He calls His witnesses to come up out of this world and to not be partakers of her sins. You may not believe this, but PLEASE read through to the end as you will be provided with solid Biblical proof of what is being said.
You are probably now thinking, “This does not include me and is not speaking of my church.” Yes it does and yes it is; and if you will allow His Holy Spirit to take control and be patient and open enough to hear what His Spirit is saying, you will be able to correct the errors that have been so widely spread throughout the Christian community, so that you may be “accounted worthy” to be taken up to meet Him in the air.
The following pages contain teachings straight from the Word of God. They are NOT teachings of any current denomination and you probably will not agree or be able to verify them if you are using and putting your trust in a Bible translation made after 1881. The reason for this is that almost all Bible translations made after 1881 are based on multiple texts that have been edited and erroneously copied and are not the “Words of God.” The words used in these bibles reflect what the interpreters believed, which in many cases is not what the Word of God says. In other words, they are not translations but interpretations of the Bible. Making the Word of God easy to understand sounds great, and that is exactly what lazy Christians want, but don’t expect the Holy Spirit to teach you the deeper “meat” of the Word of God if you are using one of these translations. The Word of God was not written to be totally understood with one simple read through it; it was written to provide us with a lifetime of growing in God’s knowledge and grace. The newer translations often disguise what God intended. By trying to simplify the words they often hide the meat, which is the deeper revelations of the Word of God. They even replace the word “meat” with the ordinary word “food.” The “meat” of the Word of God is the harder to digest or grasp teachings, but now everything is just ordinary food.
In this article, you will be shown undeniable proof of this if you are patient enough to read it. This is not easy to do in today’s instant gratification world, but you should not be of this world if you belong to our Lord Jesus Christ. So hopefully you will read this article in full because there is information you do not have now that you will definitely need if you are to be “accounted worthy” when that awesome event happens.
Before we show you where in God’s Word it states that in your current condition you will be left behind, here is a listing of the things you will need to know when that awesome day arrives. Each of these items will be answered in this article with scriptural proof; so please be patient, because there are things you must see and some false doctrine that must go away before you will be “accounted worthy.” This is a bold thing to say, and it is not said in an off the cuff, judgmental, or self-righteous way, but rather in accordance with what the Word of God says.
The Rapture of His Saints is given as the analogy of a Wedding. Marriage is the closest and most intimate of all relationships known to mankind. It speaks of that moment when your physical body dies and falls to the ground and you receive your new spiritual body. It is then that Christ comes into you and sups with you and you are one with Christ. However, one of the things we tend to forget because of our built-in “replacement theology” is that Jesus Christ was a Jew, so this wedding will be patterned after a Jewish wedding. There are rituals in Jewish weddings that are different from Gentile weddings, and to be a participant at this wedding there are things that you must know and do. These are made clear in the Word of God. (Published before 1881) They are listed here towards the beginning of the article in hope that the Holy Spirit will set off some alarm bells for you and you read the rest of the article because you will need to know these things.
Since you are reading this article, we will take it for granted that you know Jesus Christ as your personal savior and Lord, The remaining 7 of the previously listed items will be revealed and explained and proven to you. In fact, you will be denying the Word of God if you do not believe them. You can deny the Word of God, but do you really believe He will “account you worthy” if you do?
Here is a list of items you will need to know when the Rapture takes place:
- Number 1 and most importantly you will need to know and love Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord. (If you truly do, you will be saved, but that does not mean you will be caught up to be with Him when the Rapture occurs. You still could qualify as one of the “foolish virgins.” (More explanation later.)
- You will need to be spotless; all sin confessed and forgiven. (There are no sinners in Heaven.)
- You need to know what day the wedding will occur. This will offend many because of almost universal false teaching, but please ignore your rejection and be patient because it will be revealed to you with lots of evidence if you will only be patient and hear the whole matter before you judge. This is probably the biggest reason why you will not be taken because if you really knew the family you are supposed to be adopted into, you might not have been so accepting of this almost universal false teaching.
- The time of Day the Wedding will take place. Yes, this is in as plain of sight as can be in the Word of God, and yet it has been completely overlooked because if no one can know the day, knowing the hour is out of the question. Please ask yourself this. Have you ever been invited to a wedding that the day and time were not revealed to you? Or better yet, Christ is the groom and we are the bride at this wedding; can you imagine a bride that does not know when her wedding will be?
- You will need to know what to do when our Lord calls you. Yes, there is something you must do and it is in plain sight in the Word of God, and there are even three other verses that confirm this, but they have been overlooked for ages. One is found in the Old Testament and two are found in the New.
- You need to know the “Sign of the Son of Man” after you perform the task He commanded previously. This sign is confirmed in at least four different places in Scripture, but because we have not watched, we don’t know where they are. When you know what the Sign of the Son of Man is, you should be able to understand why He expects you to know the day.
- After you see the “Sign of the Son of Man” He tells us a third thing we are to do.
- After you perform the task of #7 He instructs us on what “NOT to do” after you are “accounted worthy.”
Where does it say in God’s Word that You Will Be Left Behind?
The answer to this is easy, but to get you to understand and accept it may take a little doing. One of the places the answer is found is in the letters to the churches in Revelation chapters 2 and 3. These are among the most misunderstood and most mistaught chapters in God’s Word. They are great examples of men telling us what they say through Gentile eyes and not looking back in the Word of God to find what their meanings actually are. Many of today’s teachers believe the letters to these seven churches were only written to the churches of Paul’s day and were to provide teaching to guide those of the future. These teachers were not taught, and do not believe or teach that these letters were indicative of future church ages. Even though, in a verse just prior to the actual letters to the Churches Christ says;
Revelation 1:19 (KJV)
Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;
The main subject of Revelation chapter 1 from verse 11 to verse 20 is the letters to the churches, so how can you say that verse 19 does not apply to future church ages?
Just as our Lord, these letters are three in one.
- They were written to the churches of Paul’s day for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness. These were the churches which “are.”
- They were written to the churches of seven different church ages. This becomes very obvious when you interpret the names given to these seven churches and compare them to the history of the church. This is especially obvious when you look at the name of the last church which is the church of today when Christ returns. These are “the things which shall be hereafter.”
- These letters were written to the churches of all ages for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness. These letters were also warnings to the church of the trials and temptations she was going to encounter so that the wise might be able to avoid these mistakes and be accounted worthy. By doing so one insures that our Lord will not come upon them quickly, or like a thief.
If you were to look for a counterpart to these 7 churches in the Bible it would have to be the “Song of Moses” in Deuteronomy 32. In this scripture God told Israel the errors and mistakes they would make in the future. One would think they would have used these as a guide and not made these mistakes, but such was not the case. Because of our built-in “replacement theology” and our failure to consider the teachings in the Old Testament, the same is true of these letters to the churches. We have not even been able to interpret them correctly, so naturally, we have no way to correct the errors they were intended to correct.
So, where does it say in God’s Word that you will be left behind?
The Letters to the Churches
As was just stated, there is a LOT of information in the letters to the churches that have remained hidden and has not been interpreted properly. Much of it deals with the return of Jesus Christ. To every one of the seven churches except Smyrna, Christ mentions His return. He also advises each one of them on what they must do so that He does not come upon them quickly and catch them by surprise. He does not mention His return to Smyrna because the church of Smyrna was martyred. Smyrna means “cracked myrrh,” which was used to embalm dead bodies. The church of Smyrna died for their love of Christ so there was no need to mention His return to them.
So let’s take a look at the church of Laodicea which is the last of the 7 churches, which makes it the church at the time of Christ’s return, the authentic non-rehearsal Fall Feast of the Lord. (For those not familiar with these Feast Days, we will go into more depth on these latter as they are extremely important.)
The Church of Laodicea
If it is true that these churches represent different church ages, then the last church should be the church at the time of Christ’s return. This only makes sense, doesn’t it? So let’s take a look at what the name Laodicea means in Greek.
NOTE: While reading articles written by others on the Church of Laodicea it is usually stated that “Laodicea” means “The people rule.” However, when one does the research into the original Greek wording in Strong’s and Vine’s Greek Dictionaries, one will find something quite different and more accurate in describing the church of our current time.
Laodicea comes from two root words; “laos” which simply means people or an assembly of people, and “dike” (pronounced dee-kay) which means “judicial hearing” or “execution of a sentence.” This makes the correct meaning of “Laodicea” to be “People of the Judgement” or the “People of the execution of a sentence;” of which both are excellent descriptions of what happens during the two day Feast of Trumpets and the ensuing Fall Feast Season. The first day being the Rapture of His saints, and the second day being the “Day of the Lord;” after which the execution of a sentence is going to be carried out; which is the pouring out of the 7 vials of God’s wrath. This should leave no doubt that this letter is to the church of today. Laodicea is the church of our time and Christ had nothing good to say about it. Let’s take a look at what He says to the Church of Laodicea.
Revelation 3:14-22 (KJV)
14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; 15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. 17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: 18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. 21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. 22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
First, the Lord identifies Himself as the “faithful and true witness.” Although He does not come out directly and say it, this hints at the idea that the people of the church of Laodicea are not. This sentiment is for sure demonstrated for all to see in the verses that follow.
Next, He tells the church that He knows our works and that we are neither cold nor hot. He then states that He wishes we were “cold or hot.” If we were cold having never been warmed by the Gospel light there would be a better chance or our becoming hot and fervent Christians. However being lukewarm means we have been warmed by the Gospel light without being brought to a fervent heat; meaning we have enough heat to lull us into a false sense of spiritual security, but not enough heat to warm others to the love of Christ. If we were a new church and our being lukewarm was a transitional stage between the cold and hot, that would be good and acceptable; but we are not. The Church of Laodicea is the last of the church ages. Being the last church we have had more time with the written Word of God than any before us. Almost all of the pre-rapture prophecy has been fulfilled and the Church of Laodicea still does not have a clue as to what is going on or what God has revealed to us in Bible Prophecy. The Church of Laodicea is basically in the same shape as Judaism was when Christ came the first time. They were going through the motions with all their rituals but had no idea that the more than 350 prophecies about Christ’s first coming were being fulfilled right in front of their eyes. Because of this, He says in verse 16; “So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of my mouth.” What does He mean by this? What does “spew” mean?
As you can see “spew” means to vomit and not just to spit as most of the new “interpretations” tell us. One vomits when the brain sends a signal to the stomach to get rid of something it has determined will be hazardous to the rest of the body if it is not expelled. To spit is to get rid of a small amount of some material that is causing discomfort or leaving a bad taste in your mouth, but to vomit is to get rid of a large amount of bad stuff that is causing illness to the rest of the body. In essence, our Lord is telling us that the church of Laodicea is not going to have a part in the “body of Christ” unless it repents and corrects the errors. Also notice that it says I will spew (vomit) thee out of my mouth and not “I might” or “I am about to” or “You make me want to vomit” as some of the newer interpretations say.
The fact that Christ is telling the church of Laodicea (us) that we are not going to be part of the “body of Christ” is a very serious indictment of the church of today. If you try to tell this to a member of the church of today they will be greatly offended, and of course, the typical reaction is;
- This whole thing about churches through the ages can’t be right.
- There’s nothing wrong with me or my beliefs, it must be those Lutherans, Methodists, or some other group because everything I believe is right on!
Verse 17 tells us the reason He will vomit us out of His mouth is:
- “Because thou sayest, I am rich:” This has to refer to spiritual wealth because “and increased with goods;” which immediately follows is referring to worldly wealth. This describes the church of today perfectly. Each religion believes their teaching and their ways are correct, yet all of them are following the words of men and not the Words of God. Most are now using modern translations (interpretations) which completely destroy Bible prophecy and are written to fit the beliefs of the translator or a particular denomination. Extremely few even know what the Feasts of the Lord are, let alone that they are prophetic. Even the churches that do deem them important do not believe that God reveals the dates of the last three Fall Feast Days because they have swallowed the false teachings of man and have not paid close attention to what His Word says. Many denominations use Sunday as the Sabbath day when the Bible clearly teaches that the day of assembly is Saturday. There is no place in God’s Word that “Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy” was rescinded, and yet you are viewed as being ridiculous if you even try to discuss the topic. Genesis 2:3 (KJV) says “And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.” If God sanctified it, who are we that think we can de-sanctify it? The church of today does not take God at His Word and for that reason, they will not be raptured as they believe they will be unless they repent and get back into the Word of God.
- “And increased with goods:” This speaks to worldly wealth. Many today are more interested in their balance in the bank than their balance in heaven. Many make their decisions based on money rather than trusting in the One who promised to provide all our needs. Is this not the same condition that has plagued mankind all through the ages? God blesses us with so much that we focus on our riches as though we are rich because of something we did and we forget the One that provides us with everything, the One who deserves all the glory, praise, and honor!
- “And have need of nothing:” The fact of the matter is that from Christ’s viewpoint as expressed in this portion of Scripture, the church of Laodicea is a bunch of “know it all’s.” It is almost a forgone conclusion that if you try to share the information in this post with another member of the church of Laodicea they will not hear a word of it, even though you can show them unquestionable Biblical proof. They will even come out and say, “The Lord will provide me with all I need to know when the rapture occurs.” He has already provided it in His Word in multiple places, but Laodiceans believe He’s going to repeat himself again just for them. (Like a teacher giving answers during the test.)
- “And knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:”
According to Webster’s 1913 dictionary “wretched” means:
- Very miserable; sunk in, or accompanied by, deep affliction or distress, as from want, anxiety, or grief; calamitous; woeful; very afflicting.
- Worthless; paltry; very poor or mean; miserable; as, a wretched poem; a wretched cabin.
- Hatefully contemptible; despicable; wicked.
The first two definitions are not what He meant by wretched because He already states that the Church of Laodicea is miserable and poor. This leaves the third meaning to be what He means by the use of wretched. That description is “Hatefully contemptible; despicable; wicked.” Now does it make sense why Christ does not want the Church of Laodicea to be part of His body? If that does not make you sit up and take note, what will? Do you really think Christ’s return is imminent because Christ is happy with the church of today? Would not the world be a different place if the teachings of our churches were spot on and the churches were honoring and being blessed by God?
We are too blind to see that we have not heeded the warnings and advice Christ gave to the four previous churches that did not take his advice and repent. We don’t even take into consideration the possibility that what our pastor or teacher told us may be wrong or that the words in the book we are reading have been changed to the point we can never know the “REAL” meanings of the letters to the seven churches, or the rest of the Bible for that matter. In the end, it will be found that we are guilty of the exact same things that the Israelites did and did not do. They did not honor the Sabbaths, nor did they honor the Feasts of the Lord. The Feasts of the Lord speak to the most important days in the whole Word of God and yet there is hardly anyone in the Church of Laodicea that even knows what they are, let alone what they are about. Israel was also guilty of honoring the laws (words) of men and not the Word of God. They did not do the things God asked them to do and they did not pay enough attention to prophecy. He told them exactly what they would do and what He would do because of it, and it made no difference to them whatsoever. God punished Israel severely for not obeying Him, why would we be any different?
“Blind” means two things. First, we are not even aware of our “wretched” condition. Our newer interpretations and our unwillingness to really sit down and “study” the word of God contribute to our blindness. Second, there are many things our churches are not seeing; the importance of Bible prophecy for one. The “Man of Sin,” King of Babylon,” “Lawless One” and “Satan in the flesh” was here for at least 3½ years, and nobody in our Christian Churches has the faintest idea who he is; even though he fits perfectly every verse about him in the Word of God. We are also totally blind to the most important days in all the Word of God, the “Feasts of the Lord.”
“Naked,” says we are not wearing the righteousness of Jesus Christ. In other words, our testimony is not at all what it should be. We are worldly Christians and not Christ’s Christians. We’re wrapped up in the things of this world; not the things of Christ! (Please take note of the BOOK in scripture these verses come from.)
Colossians 3:1-2 (KJV)
1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
Christ is not seeing a difference between us and the rest of the world.
“I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire;” Christ, the best “Counselor” there can be (Isaiah 9:6) now gives His counseling to the Church of Laodicea and tells them to buy from Him, Jesus Christ, gold which has been tried in the fire. The church of today is indeed rich in material things, but it is not rich in the knowledge of Jesus Christ whose knowledge is better than all the material riches of the world combined. It is spiritual wealth and not material wealth that the church needs. It is the knowledge of Jesus Christ and faith tested by fiery trial that will lead to Christ imputing to the believer the “white raiment” of Christ’s righteousness. It is this “white raiment” which will keep you from appearing “naked” and being ashamed at the judgment seat of Christ. Paul says this best in Philippians;
Philippians 3:8 (KJV)
Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
If Christ counseled the Laodiceans to buy knowledge of Him, which is purchased without money, that knowledge must be located somewhere in God’s Word. But where is it located and how do we find it and know this is the correct scripture? If you do a search of Laodicea in Scripture you will find it is mentioned 4 times in the book of Colossians. The book of Colossians was also directed to be read in the church at Laodicea. These two cities were located very close together, so what pertained to one was pertinent to the other. When you go to chapter 2 of Colossians you find the info our Merciful, Wonderful Lord wanted us Laodiceans to have.
Colossians 2:1-3 (KJV)
1 For I would that ye knew what great conflict I have for you, and for them at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh; 2 That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgment of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; 3 In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
Is not our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Merciful and full of Grace! He confirms in the first 3 verses that this is the “gold tried in the fire” the church of Laodicea needs. Our wonderful “declaring the end from the beginning” Lord and savior already provided the apostle Paul in the first century the information that the last church, the church of Laodicea, would need at the end of days, through the Revelation of Jesus Christ which was given to the apostle John.
Paul then says that as you have received the Lord Jesus Christ, so walk ye in him. This in itself would take care of much that we Laodiceans lack. Paul then goes on to warn the church at Laodicea about false teachers. In verse eight Paul says “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.” In Matthew 24:11 Christ tells us that in the last days “many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.” This warning given by Paul in Colossians was not heeded because the church of today, which is the church of Laodicea, has listened to vain deceit (our Lord could return at any moment) after the tradition of men and after the rudiments of the world. We are so close to the end, yet the church of today has not yet figured out that Islam is the anti-Christ of the last days. Almost the whole church of today is still looking for some great leader to come out of the European Union and make a seven year peace deal with Israel and then brake it after three and a half years. This is never going to happen because it is found nowhere in God’s Word. As a matter of fact, the church does not even take the slightest interest in Bible prophecy even though it is said that more than a third of the Bible is prophecy. The false prophets it is talking about here are not the people that first come to mind. It is the people in the pulpits and teaching Sunday school and leading Bible study groups that are teaching false Bible prophecy, and false teachings about the Rapture. There are many false prophets here today and the keyword here is “many.” There are very few (if any) revealing to you what you are reading here, but there are very many telling you that no one can know the day or hour of our Lord’s return. The manner in which this is taught is completely false and is a perfect lead in to the additional information that Christ wanted the church of Laodicea to know from the book of Colossians.
As it turns out, in Colossians 2 verses 16-17 we find the very same subject matter we touched upon previously is brought front and center. The “Feasts of the Lord” we mentioned previously are revealed in this same chapter. What a COINCIDENCE! Almost the entire church of today believes that no one can know the day or the hour of Christ’s return because they are reading the “word of men” that did not understand the “whole” Word of God. That is not to infer that this writer does, but it is to say that you do not even attempt to rewrite the Word of God unless you have the exact mind of God (which is impossible) and a complete understanding of everything that every verse is saying and exactly how it relates to every verse God intended it to relate to. They take the verse “day and hour knoweth no man” to be an engraved in stone statement when the rest of the Bible and the rest of that very chapter say just the opposite. The church of Laodicea has the same problem the church of Sardis and the church of Ephesus had. We preach and teach that we are grafted into the olive tree which represents Israel, but we know nothing about the tree and we take part in none of the Feasts God commanded us to do. We preach and teach that we are adopted into the family of God which consists of the descendants of Abraham, but we know nothing about the family we are adopted into. We place a separator between the Old and New Testament in our Bible and seldom if ever venture into the Old, where much of the detail about what’s to happen yet is located. The church of today is a far cry from what it should be, and yet most everyone in it believes that all is well. (We have need of nothing!)
In Colossians 2:16-17 Paul gives us two verses that are loaded with information that is totally misconstrued and misinterpreted by the Gentile eyes of today’s church. If you check out the most common interpretation for these two verses, you will find that they are used most often to defend the assembly and worship of God on Sunday (or any day you care to make it) instead of the Sabbath, which God sanctified. Two of the newer translations actually tell you not to honor these holy days! Nothing could be further from the truth as everything mentioned in these 2 verses is in direct reference to the “Feasts of the Lord” which are given specific days and dates and are all Sabbath Days. (Remember: these things revealed in Colossians are the things our church of Laodicea needs to correct to be “accounted worthy.”)
Colossians 2:16-17 (KJV)
16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: 17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
Now take a look at the popular “New Living Translation” and the “New Living Bible” translations and see how they interpreted it for you:
Colossians 2:16-17 (NLT)
So don’t let anyone condemn you for what you eat or drink, or for not celebrating certain holy days or new moon ceremonies or Sabbaths.17 For these rules are only shadows of the reality yet to come. And Christ himself is that reality.
Colossians 2:16-17 (TLB)
16 So don’t let anyone criticize you for what you eat or drink, or for not celebrating Jewish holidays and feasts or new moon ceremonies or Sabbaths. 17 For these were only temporary rules that ended when Christ came. They were only shadows of the real thing—of Christ himself.
The people responsible for these interpretations, (It’s hard to believe writings this far off could be called a translation.) had absolutely no idea that the Holydays, Sabbaths, and new moons are all “Feasts of the Lord.” Neither did they know what the “shadows” are or how the body of Christ relates to them. This translation is telling you it’s OK not to celebrate these days that God told us to celebrate which are the most important days in all of God’s Word!
Notice how the “The Living Bible” comes right out and calls them “Jewish holidays.” This is completely false! They are “Feasts of the Lord” and four of these Feasts God commanded to be kept forever and the book of Revelation even speaks of them being kept during the millennial reign of Jesus Christ, yet these books tell you it’s OK not to keep these feasts! Can you begin to see why the church of Laodicea is going to be left behind? This is just the tip of a very LARGE iceberg when it comes to these modern translations, and these are what many “Christians” cling to as their Bibles.
Paul wrote these verses because the churches of Colosse and Laodicea were a Jewish / Gentile mix that was honoring the Holydays and doing these practices. Most likely the Gentile members were experiencing persecution and being questioned as to why they would honor or adhere to what Gentiles see as Jewish practices, even though they are not Jewish feasts. The modern-day church of Laodicea has no idea what a Holy Day, new moon, or Sabbath day is. The Sabbath is a Feast of the Lord and it is the day God commanded His people to assemble, rest, and keep Holy.
Genesis 2:3 (KJV)
And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
To “sanctify” is “to set apart” and this is the Heavenly Father doing the sanctifying. Do you really believe that Christ would de-sanctify something that God Sanctified? Or do we ignore this because it is from the “Old” Testament and therefore we need not pay any attention to it? (This is from someone who never went to church on any day but Sunday but now sees differently.)
The “holy days” mentioned here in Colossians 2 are “sabbath days” or days in which no servile work is to be done. There can be up to 3 Sabbaths in a week according to God’s instructions. ALL of the days mentioned in verse 16 are “Feasts of the Lord.” The “new moon” is the nickname Israelites gave to the “Feast of Trumpets.” It came at “a day and hour that no man knew.” It is not a coincidence this is the named “Feast of the Lord” in this passage to Laodicea. In Revelation 3:20 Christ says to the church of Laodicea, “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and will open the door, I will come into him, and sup with him, and he with me.” This verse can be interpreted to say many things, but its actual intended meaning speaks of the Rapture, which is also called the “Marriage Supper of the Lamb.” This takes place during the “new moon” Feast. This is the two-day feast that represents the rapture of the church, (Day 1) which is immediately followed by the “Day of the Lord.” (Day 2) The proof of what is being said here is found in verse 17. It says these “Holy Days” are a “shadow” of things to come, which you should be able to figure out as meaning they are a forecast or rehearsal of things that are going to happen. Your “shadow” is not the actual you, but it does bear a resemblance to you. “But the body is of Christ” refers to the shadow. In other words, these “Feasts of the Lord” are a forecast of what Christ is going to do in the future because it is His body that is the object projecting the shadow. These holy days or feast days which are celebrated on a yearly basis are only “shadows” because they are only rehearsals for the real event to happen in the future on that “appointed time” or date. This is only one of the verses in the New Testament that clearly states that the “Feasts of the Lord” are “appointed times” that are going to happen in the future. This is clear evidence the early church was honoring the “Feasts of the Lord.”
There is one more connection that needs to be made to Colossians 2:16 that has been overlooked. It is the first part of verse 17 which states: “Which are a shadow of things to come“. This is the same phrase used in John 16.
John 16:13 (KJV)
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
You now have positive proof that the Holy Spirit is going to show us things to come which Colossians identifies as being the “Feast Days” that have not been fulfilled to this point in time. As you will learn shortly, God has already told us the day they will occur and He did it 3500 years ago. (He gave the day, not the year. The year of the actual Feast of Trumpets is revealed by understanding Bible prophecy)
It’s almost time to reveal to you what these Feasts of the Lord are and what their significance is, but to give you a little more assurance that what is being said here is true, let’s take a brief look at the very first church era, the church at Ephesus.
The Church of Ephesus
Our Lord complimented the church of Ephesus on their labors and their patience and then our Lord chastised them with these words:
Revelation 2:4-5 (KJV)
4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. 5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
The church at Ephesus was a Jewish / Gentile mix also. You need to know or remember when a Gentile accepts Christ as his personal savior, he is no longer considered to be a Gentile but is adopted into the Family of God which is Hebrew. (Hebrew means “crossed over”) The first love of the Hebrews, which was the House of Israel, was God. They left God and started worshiping false gods and idols. God considered this adultery because they were giving the love and praises only God deserves, to other false gods. God showed Israel so much love by caring and providing for them that God was married to Israel. If you doubt this, take a look at what God says in Jeremiah:
Jeremiah 3:8 (KJV)
And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.
When Christ tells them to “Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent.” He is referring to the greatness Israel had when they worshiped and loved God before they fell from His grace. “And do the first works“ is referring to the “Feasts of the Lord.” These were the first “works” God gave the Hebrew nation when He delivered them from their bondage in Egypt. This is confirmed by the “or else I will come unto thee quickly.” “I will come unto thee quickly” is referring to the rapture and is the same as saying “I will come on thee as a thief,“ as He said to the dead church of Sardis in Revelation 3:3. The original Greek word for “quickly” is “tachu,” and it means “suddenly, or by surprise.” When our Lord says “or else” He is making a direct connection between the “doing the first works” so to cause Him not to come on them “quickly.” It is the “Feasts of the Lord” that reveal to us the appointed times that God will meet with man. If you know these appointed times, He should not catch you by surprise.
“And will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent’ is of great importance. For the candlestick to be removed out of its place means that the church is removed from the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This is NOT a good thing.
It is because of this statement that we know the churches of Ephesus, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis and Laodicea that Christ asked to repent never repented and had their candlesticks removed out of their places. We know this because of what is revealed to us in Revelation 11 when Christ tells us who His two witnesses are. This will probably not be what you have been taught, as most preachers and teachers believe the two witnesses are Moses and Elijah, but this is not what the Bible says. His two witnesses are a great many people that belong to one of two houses; this is straight from the Word of God.
Revelation 11:3-4 (KJV)
3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. 4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks (churches) standing before the God of the earth.
Jeremiah 11:16-17 (KJV) The Two Olive Trees
16 The LORD called thy name, A green olive tree, fair, and of goodly fruit: with the noise of a great tumult he hath kindled fire upon it, and the branches of it are broken. 17 For the LORD of hosts, that planted thee, hath pronounced evil against thee, for the evil of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah, which they have done against themselves to provoke me to anger in offering incense unto Baal.
Revelation 1:20-b (KJV) The Two Churches
The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.
God called Israel (12 tribes) “Green olive tree,” but because of their evil He split them into two trees, the House of Israel (10 tribes) and the House of Judah. (2 tribes) There is no “House of Gentiles.” His witnesses belong either to the House of Judah or to the House of Israel, no exceptions!
There are only two candlesticks (churches) out of the 7 that are His witnesses. (Church means “called out” or “chosen ones”) The only two churches that Christ gave no condemnation to were the Churches of Smyrna and Philadelphia. As we mentioned earlier the members of the church of Smyrna loved the Lord so much they were being martyred for Him. It is obvious that they loved the Lord their God with all their heart.
The Greek meaning of “Philadelphia” is “brotherly love.” The people of this church era (about 1600 to 1900) produced more tracts, Christian magazines and sent out more missionaries, than at any time since the time of Christ. They truly loved their brothers.
When you put what these 2 churches tell us together, you get what Christ taught in the New Testament are the 2 greatest commandments.
Matthew 22:37-40 (KJV)
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
Since the word “and” is used to join together as in “These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.”: we need to put it all together to find out who His two witnesses are: They are “all those that are called out or chosen of the House of Judah and the House of Israel that love the Lord their God with all their heart and love their neighbors as themselves.”
Hopefully, you see that the remedy to the faults of both the first and last church (as well as Sardis) reference the “Feasts of the Lord,” it’s now time to reveal what these feasts are and what their significance is. Now that you have a good idea of why you will not be Raptured, unless there are correction and repentance, let’s try to put some of the “gold tried by fire” our Lord wanted you to have into your heart so that you realize how incredible these Feasts of the Lord are. You probably thought you knew what “God’s Master Plan” was, but it “REALLY IS” and “REALLY IS REVEALED” in the “FEASTS OF THE LORD.”
The “Feasts of the Lord” and the “Times and the Seasons”
Was Paul Telling a Whopper?
1 Thessalonians 5:1-2 “But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.”…. If you question 50 Christians about what the “times and the seasons” are, it would be highly unlikely you would find anyone that knew, including pastors and elderly people that have been going to church all their lives. Even the authors of the Greek to English Dictionaries did not understand them. With that being the case, why would Paul write that there was no need to tell us what the “times and the seasons” are? Could it be because most of the congregation Paul was speaking to were of mixed Gentile / Israelite’s and Jews that were quite familiar with what the times and the seasons were? You bet they were. In fact this is undeniable proof that the early church was honoring them just as God commanded in Leviticus 23. However, the church of Laodicea does not see this because they see things through Gentile eyes and have almost no idea what they are. Let us now explain to you what the “times and seasons” are so that you may better understand why He expects you to know not only the date of His return, but the dates of the other end times feasts also.
They were right under our noses all the time!
To find out what the “times and the seasons” are we must go back to the very first book of the Bible and the very chapter that starts out “In the beginning.” Having to go back this far shows us how God had this all planned out, right from the very beginning. He has not hidden from us what He is going to do; and yet that is what has been taught regarding the most important events in the life of His church. The fault lies with us because we have not paid attention to His “every word”; which is what we are to live by. God is not guilty of not telling us these things; we are the ones that are guilty of not listening. So let’s take a look at what God said, even before He created mankind.
Genesis 1:14 (KJV)
And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
In this verse God said he put the lights in the heavens to divide the day from the night and that they would also be used for signs, for seasons, and for days, and years. Notice the order of the purposes of the lights in the heavens stated in this verse. If we were to put them in the order that we thought most important, we would probably say days, years, seasons and signs, but God didn’t do that. He said the lights in the heavens were for signs and for seasons first, and by so doing, He put them in order of importance to Him and to us. Let’s take a look at why this is true.
First, it should be pointed out that there is one purpose that does not really fit in with the other purposes; if that is, we were to interpret it the way that almost all Gentiles do. As God states later the “greater light” rules the day and the “lesser light” to rule the night. However, neither the sun, nor the moon, or the stars determine the “seasons”. It is the tilt of the earth’ axis that determines the seasons. So why did God put the seasons before days and years? Does the word “seasons” mean something different than what we think it does? Let’s take a look at how Strong’s Hebrew Dictionary defines it.
As you look over the list of meanings for this word you can see there is nothing random, or “could happen at any time” about this word. A season is an appointed time (as beforehand) to convene a meeting or assembly for a definite purpose. It is Strong’s number <4150> and notice that it also refers to a feast or festival. A “Feast” in the Bible and to the Israelite people is not just a celebration involving lots of food like Gentiles would think. A “Feast” is actually an assembly, at an appointed meeting time for a specific purpose. What sets this word apart from all other times and appointments is that it is only used for times and assemblies that are appointed by God. It is used for meeting times between God and Man. It is never used for any other gatherings or other “appointed times.” Leviticus chapter 23 spells out these Feasts, Times and Seasons which all refer to God’s appointed meeting times with mankind.
Leviticus 23:4-6 (KJV) Feast of Passover – Feast of Unleavened Bread
These are the feasts <4150> of the LORD, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons. <4150> In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the LORD’S Passover. And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the LORD: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread.
The Hebrew word for convocation means “a rehearsal.” In other words these yearly gatherings were rehearsal for an actual appointed meeting time between God and Man. Also, these are “Feasts of the Lord” and not Jewish Feasts, there is a very big difference here that is very important and should not be taken lightly. To refer to them as “Jewish Feast” suggests that only Jews should honor them.
Notice that the words “Feast” and “Seasons” are given the same number by Strong’s. Also notice that these “Feasts” are given a very specific day. The Feast of Passover is the 14th day of the first month (Nisan 14) and the Feast of Unleavened Bread is the 15th day of the month. (Nisan 15)
Leviticus 23:10-11 (KJV) Feast of Firstfruits
10 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest: 11 And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it.
Since the Sabbath is our Saturday, the “morrow after the Sabbath would be our Sunday. This day can vary from year to year depending on what day Nissan 15 falls on, but it is always the day after the first Sabbath after Nisan 15. Again, it is a specific, appointed day.
Leviticus 23:15-16 (KJV) Feast of Pentecost
15 And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete: 16 Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto the LORD.
The Feast of Pentecost is fifty days after the Feast of Firstfruits, again a specific day.
Leviticus 23:24 (KJV) Feast of Trumpets – 2 Day Feast
Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.
The Feast of Trumpets is in the seventh month on the first day of the month. However, this date is dependent upon when the new moon occurs and became known as the “day and hour that no man knows.” On the Jewish calendar, it is Tishri 1 and Tishri 2. Both are specific and appointed dates.
Leviticus 23:27 (KJV) Feast of Atonement
Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
The Feast of Atonement is always the tenth day of the seventh month. (Tishri 10)
Leviticus 23:34 (KJV) Feast of Tabernacles
Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the LORD.
The Feast of Tabernacles is the fifteenth day of the seventh month. (Tishri 15)
Four times in Leviticus chapter 23 God says “it shall be a statute forever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.” They were to celebrate these “feasts” every year on the appointed date. When you put them on a graph it looks like the graph below. (Jewish names of the “months” are on bottom line of graph)
The first 4 “Feasts” are called the “Spring Feasts” with the middle feast “Pentecost” sometimes being called a summer feast and the remaining three are the “Fall Feasts.”
Remember we said that God’s Feasts are “Appointed Times,” meeting times between God and Man. God does not come down from the heavens every year and meet with man. However, he did come down and meet with man a little over 2000 years ago when Jesus Christ was born in Bethlehem. He came here and shed His blood to pay the penalty for our sin. Do you know what day he died on? Yes, he died on the Feast of Passover, Nisan 14. He was the Passover, because of what He did we can be passed over from death unto life. On Nisan 15, The Feast of Unleavened Bread, he was in the grave. On Nisan 17, The Feast of Firstfruits, He rose from the dead. He was the first to conquer death. Fifty days later the Holy Ghost descended from heaven and the Church was born on the feast of Pentecost.
The chart below shows the Feasts with their assigned meeting time and the corresponding event of the meeting.
Do you notice anything special about the upper chart when compared to the previous chart? Each one of those Spring Feasts (in green) the Israelite’s were given to celebrate over 3500 years ago, were fulfilled on the exact day that God appointed them to be celebrated 1500 years beforehand. (Moed, as appointed beforehand) Do you see the pattern here? These “Seasons” spoken of in Genesis 1:14 are God’s appointed times to meet with man. He gave these appointed times to the Israelite’s which they rehearse on a yearly basis, but each feast represents a specific appointed meeting time with God. God’s Feast Days were given shortly after the Israelite’s left Egypt. Even though they were given during Old Testament times, each one of these Feasts has a New Testament correlation. The upper chart shows God’s Feast dates on the left as given to the Israelite’s with the corresponding meeting times given at the right. The lower chart shows what it would look like on God’s Appointment Planner.
If our Lord fulfilled all the Spring Feasts and the Summer Feast on the exact day He made the appointment for, do you really believe he will not do the same for the Fall Feasts? What reason could you possibly have to think He would not when these are the very dates that God appointed for these meetings to take place?
These appointed times or the old covenant were fulfilled the first time when God poured out his wrath upon Egypt to let His people go. That first Passover was Nisan 14, with the Feast of Unleavened Bread the next day and each of the following Feasts on the very same appointed time. Of special note is that the Jews celebrate the Feast of Weeks, also known as Pentecost, as the day that the 10 commandments were given 3500 years ago. We celebrate it as the day the Holy Spirit was given and the church was born 2000 years ago. Do you see the connection here? God gave the Law or guide for the first covenant and replaced it on the very same day with our current guide, His Holy Spirit. What more evidence could you possibly need to see that God holds these feast days in very high esteem and that He has indeed kept the appointments on the exact days He scheduled them, even using the exact same days for two different covenants?
We also want to remind you that these are “God’s Feasts” or “Feasts of the Lord” and not Jewish Feasts as they are so often referred to in error. These feasts are the only feasts that use the Hebrew word “moed.” (Pronounced mo-ade) The Jews have other feasts but they are referred to as zemān, which also is an “appointed time,” but they are not “God’s Appointed Times.”
(Exhibit 2) Just a reminder of the verse in Colossians 2:16-17 (KJV) that tells us these feasts are a shadow of things to come. Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: Which are a shadow of things to come.
So now that you know that the Rapture will take place on the day God appointed it, which is Tishri 1 on the Jewish calendar; how can anyone say that “no one can know the day?” The day was revealed 3500 years ago, so we know the “DAY” of the Rapture or “calling out;” but the exact year of all the “Fall Feasts of the Lord” is revealed by knowing and understanding Bible prophecy. By knowing and seeing the events take place you will know what year and what day your Lord will return for you.
When you understand God’s Feast Days and see the number of times they are spoken of in the Bible it becomes very apparent that God places very special importance on these days He appointed to meet with man. They are so important that anyone that claims Jesus Christ as His personal savior should know and understand God’s Feast Days. If you would like an example of how the Lord takes it when you miss His appointed visits, there is a real-life example given to us in Luke 19 when Christ wept over Jerusalem. This should give you goosebumps and add a little more proof as to why the church of Laodicea is in serious trouble.
Luke 19:41-44 (KJV)
41And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it,42 Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! But now they are hid from thine eyes. 43 For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side, 44 And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.
The Feasts of the Lord are mentioned many times in the New Testament. Now you know that they are both commemorative and prophetic, but did you know they also present us with the pathway of salvation. Yes, besides being Commemorative and Prophetic, they are also Redemptive.
These Feasts given by God are like God in that they are 3 in 1. They serve three purposes and they are what could be referred to as God’s Cardio-Pulmonary-Resuscitation for mankind. They are:
- Commemorative Calendar – The Israelite’s were to remember and celebrate these days on their exact dates every year as a reminder of how God delivered them from bondage in Egypt.
- Prophetic Calendar – God gave us the appointed times that He would meet with man. God has always informed us before He performs something that will greatly affect His people. Like a good father, He wants His children to be informed.
- Redemptive Calendar – They reveal God’s Master Plan of redemption and salvation. They lay out for us the events that will happen to us as we follow the path of salvation that He has laid out for us. This plan precisely mirrors both His Prophetic and Commemorative Calendars.
Here is what His Redemptive Calendar looks like; it should all start making sense to you now.
- When Jesus died he took our place on the cross and paid the price for our sins, He was the Passover. He gave up His life in place of ours. When you repent & ask Christ to forgive your sin and come into your life and save you, you in effect are dying to self and giving him control of your life. He died for you so that you could live for him. This is the FEAST OF PASSOVER.
- When you are baptized and submerged in the water, this symbolizes being buried with Christ in death. A dead man is freed from sin. This is the FEAST OF UNLEAVENED BREAD.
- When you are baptized and come up out of the water, this symbolizes being raised up a new creature in Christ, Just as Christ was raised from the dead, so will you be. This is the FEAST OF FIRSTFRUITS.
- His Holy Spirit will now abide in you and guide you. This is the FEAST OF PENTECOST.
- Christ will sanctify you, or “set you apart” or separate you from this world and the things in it unto Himself. This is the Rapture or the first part of the FEAST OF TRUMPETS. (Remember it’s a two day feast) He will come into your life and be your King. This is the “Day of the Lord” and the Second Day of the FEAST OF TRUMPETS.
- Your sin debt is paid in full. This is the FEAST OF ATONEMENT.
- Jesus will dwell or tabernacle with you forever. This is the FEAST OF TABERNACLES.
It is through this Master Plan that God makes a way for sinful man to be reconciled, be brought back to the state that God intended for him. For this to happen these Feasts must occur in our lives on an individual basis. However, at the same time these Feasts are happening on an individual basis, God is performing these Feasts on an “appointed time” historical basis. What motivation could God possibly have to hide His Master Plan from us? The answer is He doesn’t, but we have swallowed Satan’s lies in finding a way to believe that He has.
When you know and understand God’s Feast Days there is no way you can make the statement that Nobody knows “THE DAY” that the Rapture will occur. God knew it before He even made man and He revealed the “DAY” to man 3500 years ago. It’s only because we disobeyed God that we don’t know anything about His Feasts. We don’t study to show ourselves approved, we pretty much ignore the Old Testament and have a built-in replacement theology, so we don’t even acknowledge any of the Feast days on their God-appointed dates. Most of us totally ignore the weekly Saturday Sabbath, which if you read the first few verses of Leviticus 23 carefully; you will see that the Saturday Sabbath is also a Feast of the Lord.
NOTE: The Saturday Sabbath is actually the 8th Feast of the Lord. Remember, “Feasts of the Lord” are meeting times between God and man and they are also a gathering or assembly for a Holy purpose. This feast is separated out from the other feasts, but it fits the description of “moed” or Feast of the Lord. The non-rehearsal “Feast of Sabbath” is actually the day after the 2 day Feast of Trumpets. It is the day our Lord is going to gather together or assemble the House of Israel and the House of Judah in Israel and restore them back to the prestige they once had among the nations with the Messiah as their King. This is found in Revelation 7 where it speaks of the 12,000 being sealed from every tribe. This is the second most important reason why we should all be honoring the 7th day Sabbath. The second witness which validates this is found in Act 1:6-8 when His disciples asked when He was going to restore the Kingdom of Israel. He answered them by including the restoration of Israel with the “Times and the Seasons.”
It’s now time to start showing you the 7 things you must know to be properly prepared for the Rapture. The first and most important of all is that you must have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal savior. We will take it for granted that you have since you have read the article all the way to this point, so the second item on the list is “you need to be spotless.” The key here is getting a grasp on what spotless means.
ITEM 2: What You Will Need When the Rapture Takes Place
You Need to be Spotless
2 Peter 3:10-14 (KJV)
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat. 13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. 14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
As you just learned previously, “The Day of the Lord” is the day following the Rapture of His saints. To all those that missed the Rapture, of course, this day is going to come upon them “as a thief in the night.” You may have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, but that does not mean you will be taken when the Rapture occurs. As verse 14 of 2nd Perter chapter 3 states, you need to be “found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.” Just because we are saved by grace through the blood of Jesus Christ does not mean we do not have sin that is not confessed or repented of. We shouldn’t, but it doesn’t mean we don’t. If when Christ returns He finds you with spots, which is non-confessed and non-repented of sin, you will not be taken.
Question: What are the chances the Christian of today will be “in peace, without spot, and blameless” when the rapture occurs if he has no clue what day or hour it will happen? Does this sound like our God who has always gone that extra mile to make a way for sinful man to be redeemed? Does this sound to you like the plan of a Merciful Lord and Savior that says it’s not God’s will that any should perish? Do you really believe our Lord is planning to catch us when we least expect Him? Do you really believe any groom would just show up at the residence of his bride unexpectedly on just any day and grab his bride and take her off to be married without her an opportunity to bathe, do her hair and make sure she is as beautiful as possible for her husband-to-be? Do you really believe a loving groom would rob his wife-to-be of the excitement and joy she would experience while waiting with great anticipation for one of the most important days of her life? How can she do that, if she doesn’t even know what day it will take place?
If you are a part of the Church of Laodicea, the “no one can know the day or hour” crowd, these are the things you are saying. Our Lord confirms the rapture will happen to the church of Laodicea just as they believe; He will come as a thief in the night and catch them completely off guard. He tells us this about the evil servant in Mathew 24:48-51.
Matthew 24:50 (KJV)
The lord of that servant (evil servant) shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
Doesn’t anyone realize if you take this verse and totally reverse it and quote it for the good servant it would say: “The lord of the good servant shall come in a day when he is looking for him, and in an hour that he is aware of.”
No one can know the day or the hour is what the “House of Gentiles” of today believes and teaches. But that is not what our Lord wants them to teach or believe. How can we make such a statement? Easy, ignoring the fact that all the other verses say otherwise; let’s take a look at the things the House of Judah does and practices during the time leading up to the wedding date. (Rapture – Feast of Trumpets) They already know the day because our Lord gave it to them 3,500 years ago, and He told them to rehearse it every year until the actual wedding takes place, which will be on that very same day sometime in the future. The rituals they practice to prepare themselves for this Feast of the Lord, the Feast of Trumpets, will help to demonstrate to the disciple of Jesus Christ the importance of being spiritually ready when the trumpet sounds.
The Hebrew month of Elul is the month of repentance. It is the last month before Tishri 1 on the Jewish calendar, which is the date of the Feast of Trumpets. Elul 1 begins the season of blowing the shofar (ram’s horn – trumpet) and seeking God in sincere repentance. The month of Elul starts with the blowing of the shofar early in the morning and continues each morning (except on the Sabbaths) for the first 3 weeks of the month. The early morning trumpet call is meant for sleepers to awake from their lethargy and review their actions, repent from their sins, and remember their Creator. It is the time of spiritual cleansing in which Selichot Prayers or prayers of forgiveness are prayed as each person seeks to cleanse their relationship with God. If another individual was wronged, forgiveness from that person is sought before God is asked for forgiveness.
One week before Tishre 1, the Feast of Trumpets, the Trumpet blowing, and Selichot Prayers switch from being performed in the early morning to midnight. This bears taking special note of as you will find out shortly because the cry that announces the grooms coming goes out at midnight.
The name of the month Elul (spelled Alef-Lamed-Vav-Lamed) is said to be an acronym of “Ani l’dodi v’dodi li,” which in English is “I am my Beloved’s and my Beloved is mine,” a quote from Song of Solomon 6:3, where the Beloved is God and the “I” is God’s chosen people. (Marriage of the Lamb)
It is not being suggested here that the born again Christian should be reciting the Selichot prayers every day for 30 days before the return of our Lord to make sure he will be raptured up to be with our Lord. What is being suggested is that we take the uttermost care of our spiritual health as that is far more important than our physical health. We also need to take on the role of the bride to be; looking forward with great joy and anticipation in the coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and that we do everything possible to make sure we are as beautiful (without spot) as possible for Him when that time arrives. In other words, as it says in Luke 21:36, we should “watch and pray always, that we may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.”
ITEM 2: Answer: What You Will Need When the Rapture Takes Place
Pray always that you will be accounted worthy. (And stay beautiful!)
It is very important that you know the day the rapture will take place. It is important because He expects you to know the day, or He wouldn’t have used so much of the Bible for prophecy. We know from the appointment calendar that God provided us with, it will be on the first day of the two day “Feast of Trumpets,” but we need the exact day of the rapture including the year. Yes, the exact day is given in the Word of God, but since you may still be uncomfortable with this, let’s first take a look at where in the word of God He tells us we can know “the day.” When you see these things you will realize that not only can you know the day, but that the Lord EXPECTS you to know THE DAY!
We will begin with Acts 1:6-8 which is the same portion of Scripture we mentioned earlier because it validates the Sabbath day as also being a Feast of the Lord. It also validates that we can know when these remaining times and seasons will be. At least it does in the King James Bible; but as you will see in the new modern translations, the words and punctuation are changed enough so that you would never know our Lord is referring to the “times and Seasons,” let alone the fact we can know the exact days they will occur. You will be able to see in these verses from the newer translations that the translators did not understand what the “times and seasons” are.
Acts 1:6-8 (KJV)
6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? 7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. 8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
On the day immediately after the 2 day Feast of Trumpets the Lord is going to restore the kingdom of Israel; and this is during the actual Fall Feast Season. The Lord told them that they could not know the “times or the seasons” (Feasts of the Lord) that God had put in His own power. The word “power” in Greek here is “exousia” and it means “authority or jurisdiction.” However, it is immediately followed by “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you:.” The second “power” used is the Greek word “dynamis” and it means “ability.” In these verses, Christ is saying that after the Holy Spirit has come, you will be able to know the “times and the seasons.” The power his disciples were to receive was connected to knowing the “times and the seasons,” It was not connected to being his witnesses. The King James Version makes this clear by the way this scripture is punctuated. The colon after the “come upon you” shows the end of one subject and the beginning of the next. The “and” following the “come upon you” shows that being witnesses is in addition to receiving the power to know the times and seasons. The punctuation in the newer translations is different, a semicolon or comma is used which makes the power received to be the “ability to be Christ’s witnesses.” This is ridiculous because Christ is saying ” ye shall be witnesses unto me.”
However, just to give more credibility as to how these new translations have changed the Word of God, here is another example from TLB. (The Living Bible) Notice how ‘times and the seasons” are hidden or not even mentioned so you do not even know what is being referred to: and in many of the newer translations the “power” is shifted from our being able to know the “times and seasons” to the power of being His witnesses.
Acts 1:7-8 (TLB)
7 “The Father sets those dates,” he replied, “and they are not for you to know. 8 But when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, you will receive power to testify about Me with great effect, to the people in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth, about my death and resurrection.”
Acts 1:7-8 (NLT)
7 He replied, “The Father alone has the authority to set those dates and times, and they are not for you to know. 8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
Both of these translations are in error as “those dates” have already been set but these verses speak as though they have not been set as of yet.
Acts 1:7 (NASB)
He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or epochs which the Father has fixed by His own authority;
The New American Bible mentions the “times and the seasons,” but they then furnish a note that states “this verse echoes the tradition that the Parousia of our Lord is not revealed to human beings. The Parousia means “Last Day” (They interpret with false assumptions and bias.)
Acts 1:7-8 (NAB)
7 He answered them, “It is not for you to know the times or seasons that the Father has established by his own authority. 8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, throughout Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
The NAB looks like it is not that different than the King James, but notice how it changes the colon at the end of the phrase “when the Holy Spirit comes upon you,” to a comma which makes the power belong to the witnessing and not to know the times and the seasons. Little errors can make BIG differences!
Why is it that everyone ignores what John 16 has to say? This Scripture is very clear as to its meaning, yet no one, including the Bible translators, takes our Lord at His Word. These words were stated just before He went to the Father in heaven. Part of what He is saying here is that the verses which say: “But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father” (Mark 13:32) is going to be amended because Christ is now going to the Father and the Holy Spirit is about to be given.
John 16:13-15 (KJV)
13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into ALL TRUTH: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come. 14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. 15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
The following verse is also completely ignored. It’s was given after Christ ascended up into heaven to take His place at the right hand of the Father.
Revelation 1:1 (KJV)
The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to show unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:
Why does it say “which God gave unto him.” Would you not believe everything if it just said “The Revelation of Jesus Christ?” The “which God gave unto Him” is added so that you know the verses which say “only the Father knows” are now amended.
Our Wonderful Savior provided us with all we need to know in His Word. All you have to do is ask Him for it and “study to show thyself approved unto God,” because He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him.
Hopefully, you are now starting to see the light, and you will be able to withstand the shock of finding how our wonderful Lord revealed to us the exact day He will return for all those that Love Him and keep His commandments.
ITEM 3: What You Need to Know When the Rapture Takes Place,
The Date of the Last “Rehearsal” Feast of Trumpets Revealed
Where does our Lord reveal to us the last “Rehearsal” of the Feast of Trumpets and why does He not reveal the date of the actual last Feast Season. Right where one would expect to find it, in Revelation 11, the chapter where He reveals to us what will happen to His two witnesses. Only as we already showed you previously, the Bible reveals His two witnesses to be all those of the House of Israel and the House of Judah (the 2 olive trees) that love the Lord their God with all their hearts and love their neighbors as themselves. (The 2 churches) This is a condensed commentary on Revelation 11. A more detailed account of Revelation 11 can be found at:
Revelation 11:1 (KJV)
And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
This verse has left many scratching their heads as to what it is talking about because they are not sure if it should be taken literally or not. How does one measure “them that worship therein?”
The answer is really not that difficult as whenever God says “like unto” or “just as;” that is exactly what He means. He is telling you what it is. So we are talking about a measuring rod. The meaning of this verse is difficult to understand until you take a look at the diagram of the actual Jewish Temple layout in Jerusalem. When you do, it will be apparent that He is referring to the measurement of the entire interior of the Temple of God. The Greek word that is used for “temple” here is “naos” which speaks to the tall inner sanctuary only, and not the entire temple which is the Greek word “hieron.” (As demonstrated in the Model of the Jewish Temple)
- The Temple of God (naos): Located within the Temple of God (heiron) where God dwelt (Holy of Holies) and where the altar of incense is. Only the High Priest could enter the Holy of Holies area, and he only entered it once a year during the Feast of Atonement. (Area in Pink in Temple layout below)
- The Altar: Located in “The Priests Court”. We know this is the altar measured here because the altar of incense was already taken into consideration when the Temple of God “naos” was measured. (Area in Light Green)
- Them That Worship Therein or “The Court of Israel” & the “Court of Women”: The next courts in sequence going out from the “temple of God” where the Israelites worshiped. (Area in Yellow)
Take a look at the layout of the Jewish Temple pictured below.
You are now probably asking yourself, “Why did He ask him to measure the temple? The answer is given in verse 2.
Revelation 11:2 (KJV)
But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.
It’s to be given to the Gentiles. This invokes a lot of questions because we are not given a lot of information here. It is almost for certain that the temple had already been destroyed when John wrote down this Revelation of Jesus Christ, and most likely the measurements were not that hard to obtain: so what is it that we are to deduct from what this verse is saying?
If the holy city is to be given to the Gentiles, then they are also going to be in control of the Temple Mount, Mount of the Congregation, on which God’s Temple stood. This would most likely lead one to deduct that this area that is being measured is going to be set aside with some purpose in mind, and since it is our Lord revealing this to us; it most likely will be put aside for Him. This means that even though the Gentiles will be in control of Jerusalem, no one is going to build on this particular place He is reserving. In other words, God is separating out this area from that of the rest of Jerusalem, as well as from the rest of the area that makes up the Temple Mount. This would hint at the idea that the Gentiles are going to build another building on the Temple Mount, but it is not going to be placed over the measurements that were taken in verse 1.
“And the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. “ This tells us there is a connection between the time when the Gentiles build on the Temple Mount and the time they will be in control of (tread underfoot) the holy city which is 42 months.
Now we need to go back to Bible prophecy and find out what verses speak of God’s Temple or the Temple Mount. It goes by many names including Mount Moriah, Mount of the Congregation, and God’s Holy Mountain. The first verse that comes to mind is:
Daniel 12:11 (KJV)
And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
This tells us when the daily sacrifice that was offered up to the Lord from the First Temple on the Temple Mount is taken away; it will be 1290 days before the “abomination of desolation” is set up. The building date of that structure is the beginning date for the calculations for Revelation 11:3 & 4.
Note: This verse “from the time the daily sacrifice shall be taken away” has nothing to do with the stopping of the daily sacrifice. The “taken away” is not in the sense of to stop doing it, but rather in the sense of “carried away” as in carried away to Babylon. The Bible verses referred to here are:
2 Chronicles 36:5-7 (KJV)
Jehoiakim was twenty and five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem: and he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD his God.6 Against him came up Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and bound him in fetters, to carry him to Babylon. Nebuchadnezzar also carried of the vessels of the house of the LORD to Babylon, and put them in his temple at Babylon.
Why did we make 1290 days 1291 years? First, when going from BC to AD you have to add 1 year because they actually used to believe that 0 was nothing. There is no “Zero” year in History so one has to be added when going from BC to AD. Going the other direction you must subtract one year. So how do we know that 1 day = 1 year in Bible prophecy? The info-pic below should answer any questions you may have.
Now we have our beginning date of 688 AD, the year the Muslims set up the Dome of the Rock on God’s Holy Mountain. By the chart above we see that there are 1279 days in 42 months so we know we must add 1279 years onto 688 AD. Here is what it looks like.
This is the exact year Israel regained control of the Holy City Jerusalem after miraculously winning the 6 Day War against many Muslim countries and unbelievable odds. This means that the “Time of the Gentiles” ended in 1967. (It is based on Jewish control of Jerusalem, not control of the Temple Mount.)
Revelation 11:3-4 (KJV)
3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. 4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
You already learned earlier that scripture confirms that the Lord’s two witnesses are “all those of the House of Judah and the House of Israel that love the Lord their God with all their heart and love their neighbors as themselves.” Here He tells us that they will prophesy 1260 days which in the prophecy time calculation key is 1260 years. We already know the starting date is 688 A.D. when the Dome of the Rock was set up, so let’s do this calculation
The answer “1948” should be familiar to you. This is the year that Israel became a nation again. God is telling us here that the time of His witnesses is over and we need to look to Israel because it will be the focus of the rest of end times Bible prophecy. The chart below shows the verses as well as the timeline for the building of the “Dome of the Rock,” or as our Lord refers to it, the “Abomination of Desolation” located on the Temple Mount and the subject of Revelation 11:3,4.
When going from B.C. to A.D. 1 yr. must be added because there was no zero year. From A.D. to B.C. you must subtract 1 yr.
We will skip verses 5 & 6 as they will not add to revealing the Day of the Rapture.
Revelation 11:7 (KJV)
And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
You already know who the two witnesses are and when the time of their testimony was finished. A “beast” in Biblical terms refers to “man without the love of God in his heart” It can refer to one man, multitudes of men, or an entire kingdom or empire. In the book of Revelation most, but not every time this refers to a “beast kingdom.”
“The beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit” is what we need to discover now and it really is not that hard to do. Isaiah 14 is where we need to go to know who this beast is. We will show you the verses, but we will just highlight the verses that will help you to understand who this “beast” is.
Isaiah 14:12-20 (KJV)
12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! 13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: 14I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. 15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. 16 They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; 17 That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners? 18 All the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every one in his own house. 19 But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcass trodden under feet. 20 Thou shalt not be joined with them in burial, because thou hast destroyed thy land, and slain thy people: the seed of evildoers shall never be renowned.
“How art thou fallen from heaven:” This is Biblical prophecy predicting the fall of Lucifer (Satan) from heaven. From Job, we know that Lucifer (Satan) was before God accusing us of sin, but here God is predicting Satan’s fall from heaven.
O Lucifer, son of the morning! Lucifer and son of the morning is in all actuality the same thing. God is telling us in this portion of scripture who Lucifer is. Lucifer in Latin means “light-bearer or light-bringer.” The original Hebrew for son of the morning is “halal bane shahar” which in exact word order is “brightness son morning” or son of the morning. What both of these names are alluding to is the first brightness in the morning, or in other words, the brightest object in the sky before the sun rises in the morning. Think of it this way. The Sun is the brightest object in the sky and would be considered the father of light; therefore before the Sun rises the brightest object in the sky would be the lesser light, or the son, which brings the brighter greater light, the father. The brightest objects in the sky before the sun rises are the morning star (the planet Venus) and the moon. Both of these celestial objects were worshiped as gods in ancient civilizations, of particular interest to us is Babylon. Lucifer deceived mankind into worshiping him as these celestial objects and took away the worship and praise that belongs to God alone.
“How art thou cut down to the ground:” If Lucifer fell from heaven and was cut down to the ground, when did it happen and how can we show it? The Egyptians, Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans all worshiped the moon but had different names for it. He was Horus to the Egyptians, Sin to the Assyrians and Babylonians, Artemis to the Greek and Lucifer to the Romans. The moon and morning star (Satan) were worshiped as gods of the heavens in all these empires. The next empire to rule the Middle-East was the Ottoman (Muslim) Empire. The name of their god is Allah whose symbol is the crescent moon, but Muslims claim they do not worship the moon or the morning star, and yet one or both of these symbols are found on the flag of every Muslim nation, and on top of every Muslim mosque. In other words, Lucifer went from being a god of the heavens to being Allah, the god that created the heavens. God is telling us Allah is Satan!
The supreme leader of the Muslim world where Islam controls religion, government and individuals is called the Khalifah or Caliph. The translation of the Arabic word Khalifah is “substitute for” or “one who replaces,” so the Caliph of Islam is literally the “one who replaces Allah.” Because he is the “one who replaces Allah” all Muslims are to give him their allegiance and do everything he says. This makes the Caliph of Islam “Satan in the flesh.” As you can see Lucifer (Allah) has been cast out of heaven to Earth and is no longer worshiped as a god of the heavens but is now worshiped as the creator of the heavens. Lucifer’s literally being cast out of heaven is also documented in Revelation 12:9 (KJV) And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
“Which didst weaken the nations.” Anytime a nation is deceived by Satan and worships any other god besides Jehovah, they have numbered their days. But in this case, it is Satan that is weakening the nations. If Islam is the beast religion here as Isaiah 14 has pointed out, that would explain the problems the nations of the world are experiencing because of all the Muslim refugees they have taken in. With Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi the Caliph of Islam and the leader of ISIS ordering all these terror attacks, these nations are truly being weakened by them and by all the Muslim refugees they have taken in. They are just now finding out just how much!
In the next few verses, God describes what Satan has said in his heart, which is actually what Satan believes. To shorten this up we will highlight just a few.
“I will ascend into heaven; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds.” Both of these statements begin with “I will ascend.” If you look up the original Hebrew word for “I will ascend” you will find it is Strong’s number 5927 which is ʿālâ. Yes, the spelling may be different, but the pronunciation is exactly the same as Allah. (Just a coincidence, like all of this prophecy, is just a coincidence!)
“I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation.” The first thing you need to notice is that it does not say “I will also sit” as in this is something else I will do. Instead, it says “I will sit also.” as in something else is there now or has been sitting there in the past. Yes, this is Bible prophecy telling us that Satan would put his temple, the Dome of the Rock on the “mount of the congregation” also known as Mount Zion, Mount Moriah, and God’s Holy Mountain. This is the very mountain on which Solomon’s or God’s first and second Temples were built. This can be speaking of no other mountain besides God’s Holy Mountain because the original Hebrew word used for “congregation” is môʿêd. This word is only used when referring to God’s appointed times or assemblies, also known as God’s Feast Days which you learned of previously. There can be no mistake here because the Hebrew word zemān would be used here if it were for something other than the Feasts of the Lord.
“Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.” Keeping in mind that the King of Babylon is actually “Satan in the flesh” or as many like to call him the Anti-Christ, this is God saying he is going to hell, but only to the “sides” of the pit. This is a clear indication that he will emerge out of the pit sometime in the future. The future is NOW! The Babylonian Empire has returned and is set up shop right where the old Babylonian Empire once was. It’s called ISIS, the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria. This is the 8th Kingdom of Revelation 17 and the foot of the statue of Nebuchadnezzar’s dream in Daniel 2. There are many, many scripture verses that confirm this, but I will only give you a few of them that have been completely misinterpreted.
Revelation 13:11 (KJV)
And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
The “beast coming up out of the earth” is really special. Every square inch of this Earth is now claimed by one country or another. (Maybe with the exception of the South Pole, as the North Pole is all ice) To have a nation rise up out of the earth is a very rare thing, especially if you take into consideration the fact that the countries of Syria and Iraq still exist even though they cover much less territory right now. Yet this is exactly what we see with ISIL. (Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, now called ISIS) There are now three countries where there once were two. ISIS came up out of them.
In the figurative speech of the Bible a “horn” represents a leader, because a horn is the strong part of any animal that has horns. “He had two horns like a lamb” means that the territory he came up from was the land that was formerly held by two leaders or horns as we previously described. Since they are “like a lamb” it means that the earth he will come up out of will be taken away from two very weak leaders.
The 2 weak leaders (horns like a lamb) that Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi (ISIS) came up from were……
- Bashar al-Assad of Syria in the middle of civil war
- Nouri al-Maliki of the Iraqi government which was and is in complete chaos because of Sunni – Shiite split.
A “dragon” in Scripture is a snake, taking us all the way back to the Garden of Eden when Satan deceived Eve by speaking through a snake or dragon. “He spake like a dragon” tells us that he will be Satan’s mouthpiece. Whatever this man speaks and does, it is going to be evil and it is going to be a lie. Abu Bakr al Baghdadi was appointed Caliph of Islam. Since Caliph means “replacement for Allah” it makes him “Satan in the flesh” and Satan’s mouthpiece.
Revelation 13:11 aligns perfectly with Daniel 7:8. Daniel states that as he considered the 10 horns a little horn “came up” among them. (Note: It says little horn, not some big-time world leader. (All of Christendom is looking for some big-time anti-Christ that will rule all of Europe.)
Daniel 7:8 (KJV)
I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.
The Bible refers to nations as “trees” and therefore to be plucked up by the roots means to be overthrown by the citizens of the nation, which are the roots of any country.
Every commentary I have ever read proclaims this “little horn” as the Antichrist, so I doubt you will find anybody that would argue with this. As we stated earlier horns are leaders or people in power and the “roots” in this verse refers to the citizens these leaders (horns) rule over. This verse is saying that 3 leaders will be removed from power by their own people (plucked up by the roots) as opposed to being conquered by a foreign power. Please be clear that this verse states these leaders are thrown out of power by their own citizens BEFORE this “little horn” comes into power. The verse says “before whom there were.”
The 3 leaders that were plucked up by the roots were;
- Hosni Mubarak of Egypt (Forced out of office February 2nd, 2011)
- Muammar Gaddafi of Libya (Forced out and killed October 20th, 2011)
- Mohamed Morsi of Egypt (Began ruling on 6/30/12, and forced out of office 7/03/13
It was after these 3 leaders were deposed by their own citizens that ISIS raised its ugly head.
The “speaking great things” refers to the Muslim phrase Allahu-Akbar. You have been told this means “Allah is Great,” but that is not what it means. Its real meaning is “Allah is Greatest” which is a direct blasphemy against the only true God, the Holy One of Israel; saying Satan is greater than He.
“Is this the man that made the earth to tremble?” Is this not what is happening right now? The world is trembling and terrorized by all the chaos and death that Abu Bakr and Muslims are causing.
“But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch: In verse 15 the King of Babylon and his kingdom were brought down to Hell, but only to the sides of the pit of Hell. This is where he makes his escape; meaning the King of Babylon and his kingdom are going to come back in the future. This speaks to ISIS, which now exists in the very same area that was once the Babylonian Empire. There are dozens of Scripture verses that pinpoint both this returned Babylonian Kingdom and its leader with extreme accuracy. The “like an abominable branch” refers to a good number of immoral degenerates of a certain nationality or people. Since the Bible speaks of trees as nations; a branch would be a portion of a tree. Being abominable would mean this branch is detestable, hateful and causing moral revulsion; it would make this a very evil branch of the tree it’s attached to. This is an accurate depiction of ISIS and Islam, a branch of the Tree Arab.
Now that you know who “The beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit” is; don’t forget that it said he “shall make war against them, (God’s witnesses) and shall overcome them, and kill them.” So let’s continue with our search for what day the Rapture will occur on so that you will not be caught unawares.
Revelation 11:8 (KJV)
And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
This verse is the key to knowing when the Rapture will occur. You cannot see it now, but you will in a few sentences. To further the claim that ISIS is Babylon cast out of the bottomless pit and that Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is the “Man of Sin” and “Satan in the flesh,” you need to know that Muslims are the only people that leave the dead bodies of their enemies lie in the streets after they murder them because of the utter contempt or hatred they have for their enemies.
The “great city” is mentioned 10 times in Revelation. The first nine times it refers to Babylon, (9 is the number of judgment) and the last time it refers to the New Jerusalem. It is in present-day Babylon where their dead bodies are being left to lie. However, there is something very special you need to know about these dead bodies. Most people do not see it and that is why the dead bodies also crucified are in bold letters and underlined. These bodies were crucified as our Lord was and once again it is only Muslims that are currently doing this and it is being done as we speak in present-day Babylon.
Revelation 11:9 (KJV)
And they of the people and kindred’s and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
Just as this verse states, the whole world is seeing what ISIS and the “Lawless One” are doing in Babylon, and they are doing almost nothing about it. It is important to note that this verse says it will continue for 3½ days and as you should know by now 3½ days is 3½ years.
Revelation 11:10 (KJV)
And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
Not that you should need any more proof as to what “abominable branch” the “Man of Sin” or as many call “Anti-Christ” belongs to; but Muslims are the only ones who rejoice and make merry over the death of their enemies which just happens to be anyone that is not of the Muslim faith. They celebrate by giving pastries and candy to each other. There are many videos of this happening when Bin Laden destroyed the world trade center. (Keep in mind while you’re reading this that all of these verses were written at least 500 years before there was Islam, with O.T. verses + 2500 yrs. ago.)
Revelation 11:11-12 (KJV)
And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
Read the above closely, because what you are reading is the Rapture of His Saints. Remember this chapter is about His 2 witnesses; which is all those of the House of Judah and the House of Israel that love the Lord their God with all their hearts and love their neighbors as themselves. Once again it says after 3½ days (years) the Spirit of life from God enters into them and they will come back to life. They will hear a “great voice” from heaven telling them to “come up hither” and they will ascend up to heaven in a cloud. This is the same 3½ years mentioned in verse 9 above.
The Day of the Rapture Revealed
VERSE 8 tells us that God’s witnesses are going to be crucified like their Lord and their dead bodies will be left to lie in the streets.
VERSE 9 Says that this will go on for 3½ years
VERSE 11 informs us that after 3½ years they will be Raptured up to heaven in a cloud.
You don’t have to be Sherlock Holmes to figure out that if you know the date of the first crucifixion and you add 3½ years onto that date, it should land on the Feast of Trumpets. That is, if we are correct about what we told you concerning the Feasts of the Lord, and that they are actually “appointed times.”
First however, we need to know how many days are in 3½ years. Actually, we already figured that out when we calculated the “Time of the Gentiles” with the 42 month prophecy. 42 months is 3½ years which on the earlier equation was 1279 days. The Lord built a validation right into this chapter, so we already have a second witness as to how many days 3½ days are. We will know we have the right variables if everything works out right. So let’s find the date of the first Crucifixion performed by Satan in the flesh.
As it just so happens that information is not hard to find because it caused quite a stir. Crucifixions have been unheard of for quite some time. The first crucifixions were reported, but after the first ones there has been nothing because the press up and left the area for fear of being one of the next victims. ISIS is still performing a lot of them, but they now go almost totally unreported.
The earliest report of an ISIS crucifixion is dated 3/28/2014 on the Bing search. It will take you to this You-Tube video web address https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-tDKp7ZRieY which is from ITN News with a reporting date of 3/24/2014. When you watch the video the news reporter tells you that the contents of this video first came out of Raqqa, Syria on 3/22/14. This is the earliest reported date of a crucifixion you will be able to find that is connected with ISIS, “The beast that came up out of the bottomless pit.”
The next thing you will need to do is go to an internet website that has an easy to use date calculator. A good one to use is http://www.timeanddate.com/date/dateadd.html where you can add any amount of time onto a specific date and get a quick and precise answer. Next enter the date 3/22/2014 that was reported on the video. Now you need to add 3½ years to this date. Remember, from Revelation 11:2 we learned there are 1279 days in 42 months which is 3½ years. Since 3½ days is 3½ years, enter the 1279 days in the Days to add box and then press the green “Calculate New Date” box. Actual screenshot pictured below.
Item 3: Answer to the exact Day the Wedding (Rapture) will take place.
It will take place on the Feast of Trumpets after September 21, 2017 – which should be about midnight on September 10, 2018
NOTE: Be aware that this date and the math are all correct, but this is not the night the Rapture will take place. So why wouldn’t it be on the date this prophecy reveals? Both Daniel 7:25 and Revelation 17:11 tell us that it will be the Feast of Trumpets following this date.
Daniel 7:25-26 (KJV)
And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. 26 But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end.
Even though the verses from Revelation 11 pinpoint this day, the wording does say after 3½ days which tells us it will need to be the following year. The time, times and dividing of time is not 3½ years either. The “dividing of time” should not be confused with the prophecy of “time, times, and half a time,” which is 3½ years. can be any fraction of a year. “To consume and to destroy it unto the end tells us the domain of this Man of Sin will not be completely destroyed before the return of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 17:11 (KJV)
And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
This states that the eight beast will go into “perdition”, which is destruction, but not complete destruction. This kingdom will fight against the Lord of Lords and King of Kings.
The coming Feast of Atonement, the 2nd Coming of Jesus Christ is built right into and revealed in the Book of Revelation, just as you have read of the Feast of Trumpets, 1st day Rapture of His Saints and 2nd day, Day of the Lord.
The coming Feast of Tabernacles is also Revealed in the book of Revelation. You will find out how both of these Feasts of the Lord are revealed by reading the post “The Feasts of the Lord as Revealed in the Book of Revelation.”
ITEMS 4 & 5: What You Need to Know When the Rapture Takes Place,
4: What Time of day the Wedding Will Takes Place.
5: What to do When the Trumpet Sounds
This is a very easy one to answer and it is quite sad that people do not know this already, but there is almost nothing but false teaching and bad doctrine in the Christian community when it comes to end times prophecy. This item is right out in the open, but nobody pays any attention to it. It’s found in Matthew 25, which is the Parable of the 10 Virgins. We will just skim over this to keep the size of this article down, but you can read the rest of the article at: Parable of the Ten Virgins
This Parable has not been interpreted correctly because there is something missing in the parable itself which is needed to fully understand the teaching of this Parable. What is missing is the “Sign of the Son of Man” which has not been interpreted correctly either. When you put the Sign of the Son of Man, the Parable of the 10 Virgins, and a few other verses regarding the Rapture together, you will know the itinerary of the Rapture and you will know what to expect and what’s expected of you.
Matthew 25:1 (KJV)
Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
This opening verse clearly states that the kingdom of heaven shall be likened unto or “just like” what is going to be stated in this parable. Every place in God’s Word where He says something is “likened to” or “just as”; He is telling you what it is and that is exactly what He means. What Christ is telling us is that what you are about to read is information you will need to understand so that you will be deemed ready when the Wedding of the Lamb takes place. Are you going to take Jesus Christ at HIS word, or are you going to believe what someone else has told you? (Laodiceans believe what someone else says)
All through the Bible God has compared the relationship between His chosen people and Himself to be that of a marriage; with Christ being the Groom or Husband and His saints being the wife or bride. This pictures the closest and most loving relationship known to us, with the “Rapture” being the marriage ceremony which is what is pictured in this parable.
“Ten virgins:” Why is there 10 virgins? In scripture 10 is the number that portrays a time of testing or trials. Scripture teaches that it is the testing and trials we endure that make us better. How much better can we be made than when the Lord grants us the new spiritual body? The word “virgins” reveals to us that these are believers in Christ or they would not be called “virgins,” and they would not have been included in the wedding party. Being virgins shows they recognize Him as their one true God and give Him the glory He deserves. If they were bowing their heads to another god and giving that false god the love and glory that only God deserves they would be considered “whores’ and as such would not be participating in the marriage ceremony.
“Which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.” “We know from this the Rapture will take place at night just as the verses in Matthew, Mark and Luke suggest. Mark 13:36: “Watch ye therefore, lest coming suddenly He find you sleeping.” There would be no need to take a lamp unless this ceremony will be taking place at night.
There is a reason why our Lord chose to perform this at night. Jesus was born a Jew; a little known fact in the Gentile world is that Jewish weddings take place at night under the stars and under a chuppah tent that is open on all sides, just as Abraham and Sarah had their tent open on all sides to welcome people in unconditional hospitality. The wedding is held under the stars, as a sign of the blessing given by God to Abraham that his children shall be “as the stars of the heavens”
And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. Notice that it does not say “And five of them were good, and five were evil. This further substantiates what was said earlier, these virgins are all worshipers of God. The only difference given between the foolish and the wise virgins is that the 5 brought additional oil for their lamps and five did not. This is the only difference between them stated in the parable before the Bridegroom comes.
Christ used the number 5 for a reason. It would be a mistake to assume that this is indicative of the percentage of “virgins” that will be taken. In fact, as you will see for yourself after reading this article, the percentage taken will indeed be very, very small because of all the false teachings in the churches of today.
Instead the number 5 should be taken as it is in Scripture, which is to denote God’s grace. So one can probably assume that both groups of “virgins” are going to experience God’s great grace before all is said and done; but the 5 wise virgins will experience it sooner and will not suffer the same loss as the 5 foolish virgins.
Please take SPECIAL NOTE: All 10 virgins knew the “day” of the wedding. Even the 5 foolish virgins knew the day. What does that tell you about the church of Laodicea? Do you know anyone that has ever attended a wedding they did not know the day of? This may seem like to simple of a deduction to make, but there are many who cannot see the forest because of all the trees. Even the foolish virgins knew the day!
Matthew 25:5 (KJV)
While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
First, this is a part of the testing we spoke of earlier when explaining that the number 10 in Scripture indicates trial or testing. The tests here would be for His servants to remain awake and active while the bridegroom tarries. However, as stated “they all slumbered and slept.” These represent 2 different stages or spiritual states, neither of which is complimentary to the church of today.
To “slumber” is a state of drowsiness that is often experienced just before one goes to sleep. One usually becomes drowsy when there is a lack of activity, as in just sitting around and waiting as all these virgins were doing. Sleeping on the other hand is something that you just do; you lay down and go to sleep. Slumber will lead to sleep if nothing is done to make one come out of the slumber. Both of these states very much describe the church of today. Jesus Christ has revealed everything we need in His word to us, but everyone has just taken the word of man, preachers and teachers and the new false Bible translations, instead of searching His word to find out what the truth is and when these things will be. The “Man of Sin,” or “Satan in the flesh” was revealed more than 3 years ago, and the church still has no idea who he is or what’s going on, so how will they know when the wedding will be?
Luke 18:8 (KJV)
Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?
Matthew 25:6 (KJV)
And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
“And at midnight there was a cry made:“ Midnight is definitely the time you would least expect it, the time when you “think not.” as described in Matthew 24. According to Revelation 11:12 the cry is a voice saying “Come up hither” to the “sleeping” saints or “Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” which was quoted in Revelation 18:4 to the living saints. This would suggest that the “foolish virgins,” those that were not ready, will be the ones cut asunder after the 144,000 are sealed, but before the vials are poured out. (Revelation 14:13-20) This also agrees with Matthew 24:48-51 which states that because the evil servant does not know when his master will be returning, his master will cut him asunder. (Cut him in two pieces!)
It is very obvious by this verse that when the rapture happens it will be at midnight or in the middle of the night, so this verse makes the good servant aware of the approximate hour just as was mentioned earlier. From this verse we can deduct that when the call is made it is going to be dark and both the wise and foolish saints are going to be alerted.
Item 4: Answer to what time of day the Wedding (Rapture) will be held.
The “Cry” will go out at “Midnight”
Please take special note that we are commanded to “go out to meet Him.” Do not take this LIGHTLY as it is just part of a parable. He will expect you to leave your place of residence. This is part of the extra light the wise virgins were in possession of because of the extra oil they carried. The wise virgins knew beforehand that they would need to go back out into the darkness.
There are at least three more witnesses in God’s Word that verify when the rapture occurs we are to “go out to meet Him.”
Joel 2:15-16 (KJV)
Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly: 16 Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.
First, the blowing of the trumpet and the call for a solemn assembly verifies what the Bible teaches, which is that the Rapture & Day of the Lord will occur on the Feast of Trumpets. (Go back and look at the definition for the Hebrew word “moed” and you will see how everything in these verses say it is a “Feast of the Lord.”) Second, it says “let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet. With the “Bridegroom” being Jesus Christ and His saints being the “Bride”; the bride is told to come “out of her closet,” or in other words “go out to meet Him.” NOTE: The original Hebrew word used for “closet” is “chaphah” which means canopy or tent and almost exact spelling as “chappah,” which was Abraham’s tent in the ancient Hebrew.
Luke 12:36 (KJV)
And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.
Revelation 3:20 (KJV)
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
This is your third witness in God’s Word that you need to “go out and meet him.” This verse is the “Wedding of the Lamb.” The knock is the trumpet call. The voice is the “come up hither,” and “open the door” is what you need to do before you “go out to meet him.” By doing so you are inviting Him to come in to YOU and to sup (Marriage Supper) with you. He is not going to do this if you do not know Him. He is not going to do this if you do not know what to do or you do not open the door to invite Him in.
Item 5: Answer to what to do when the Trumpet Sounds & Cry is made.
Go ye out to meet Him!
Matthew 25:7 (KJV)
Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
It becomes obvious here that the lamps of both the foolish and the wise were left burning while they slumbered and slept because a lamp is only trimmed after it has gone out and before the next use. If the lamp of the wise had not gone out, all they would have needed to do is add a little more of the extra oil they brought with them. This is confirmed in the next verse.
Matthew 25:8 (KJV)
And the foolish said unto the wise, give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
The foolish would not have said their lamps have gone out if they were not burning a short time previously, which also tells us that like the wise virgins, they did not bring lamps that were empty.
Now is probably the time to say that the “lamps” represent the Word of God. (Psalm 119:105 (KJV) Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.) Oil is widely accepted as representing the Holy Spirit. It is the Holy Spirit that guides us and it is the Holy Spirit that interprets the Word of God to us. Like Christ, the Holy Spirit has the ability to turn darkness; which is no understanding of the Word of God, into light; which is the knowledge and understanding of the Word of God, which lights our path. It was the oil in these lamps that was turned into light, so the light represents the knowledge and understanding of the Word of God. The more “light” one has the deeper his understanding of the Word of God. It is really the amount of Gospel light each group had we should be looking at; that is what distinguished the wise from the foolish. The additional oil or light the wise virgins had was that they knew they were going to have to go back out into the dark to look for and meet the Bridegroom, Jesus Christ. They also knew how to recognize the Bridegroom because they knew Mathew 24:27-31 which reveals the sign the groom was about to appear. That leads us to item 5, what to look for; the “Sign of the Son of Man.”
If you wish to read the rest of the Parable of the 10 Virgins, go to Parable of the Ten Virgins
ITEMS 6: What to look for after you go out to Meet Him
The “Sign of the Son of Man.”
You are about to learn what the “REAL” sign of the Son of Man is. You will believe it for 2 reasons. First, because the Word of God will reveal what the sign is and secondly because there are three other verses in scripture that validate it is the correct interpretation with the last one creating an actual visual picture of it for all to see!
So let’s dig into the Word of God and uncover the meat that our Lord promised the “wise and faithful” servant so that we might be “Rapture Ready” when the appointed time arrives.
“Sign of the Son of Man”
What is the “Sign of the Son of Man?” It is exactly that, and it will be used for both the Rapture of His saints and His Second Coming. It is the signal that our Lord is going to send to tell us His appearance and the rapture of His saints is imminent. After reading many commentaries on this it became quite apparent that there is no real consensus and few if any know what the sign actually is. The teaching that no one can know the day or hour of the Rapture is universal; (even though it’s totally wrong) but how can one be so sure if you don’t even know what the sign of the coming of the Son of Man is? It also should be noted that even if you do know the day and hour of His return for us, you could still miss it if you don’t know what the signal is! Why would our Lord even give us a sign if it doesn’t matter when He returns for you? Why would we need a sign if the Rapture will happen at any time? Why is our Lord going to give a sign if he is going to come as a thief in the night? If the sign has no purpose, why would our Lord include it in His Word? Without knowing the sign, how did we come to all the conclusions that we have been taught?
For an earthly comparison let’s say you are on a plane that has taxied to the end of the runway and is just waiting to take off. The pilot cannot go until he receives a signal from the tower to take off. If the pilot does not know what the signal is, you are not going to be taking off any time soon! In fact, you may never take off! That’s a very sobering thought, isn’t it? So I think we can agree that knowing the signal is VERY important and something you must know! So let’s take a look at the Word of God and find out what the Sign of the Son of man is. He has foretold us everything, and yet it’s obvious that after almost 2000 years many people don’t know what it is.
Matthew 24:27 (KJV)
For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Most of the many commentaries will tell you that this means that it will happen extremely quickly as a flash of lightning. The rest of them will tell you that the “sign of the Son of Man” is Jesus Christ himself; however, neither of these is correct. This verse only gives us a portion of what the “Sign of the Son of Man” is, and this verse is stating just the opposite of what most believe it to be saying.
The “lightning” spoken of here is not a “bolt” of lightning, nor does it have anything to do with the speed or quickness of lightning. This becomes obvious when you go back to the original Greek word used for “lightning.”
As you can see by the translation the word “lightning” is better stated “bright shining” or “shining brightness” or even lightening. The bright shining is correct because the verse uses the descriptive word “shineth.” Lightning does not shine, it flashes. This verse simply says that “as the sun (bright shining) comes from the east and goes to the west, the same will happen when the Son of Man comes. In other words, when Christ comes for us it will happen in the same way and with the same timing or speed as the sun rising in the east and going to the west. The event will be just like a normal earth day. However, there is more to it than just this, as it will be anything but normal as revealed in the following verses.
Matthew 24:28 (KJV)
For wheresoever the carcass is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
Since this verse starts with the word “For” it is a continuation of the previous verse. Almost all the newer “easy read” Bible translations and commentaries use the word “vultures” in this verse instead of “eagles” because they say eagles do not feed on the dead flesh of animals. The problem with this belief is that this verse says nothing about these eagles feeding on the dead carcasses. They are basically saying there is an error in the original script used by the King James translators, or they made a mistake in the way they translated the words, or Jesus meant to say vultures instead of eagles.
Do you really believe our Lord does not know the difference between a vulture and an eagle? There are 5 different Greek words for “vultures” and none of them is even close to the Greek word for “eagles.” If you look at the meaning of the original Greek word for “eagles” you will find it is “aetos” and its meaning is “wind like flight.” There is NO way it can be vultures except that someone decided to change it.
When the Son of man appears in the heavens next, it will be for the Rapture of His saints. Our physical bodies will be changed from physical bodies to spiritual bodies. The dead corpses will fall to the ground and the transformed spiritual bodies will be transported up to an altitude where they can easily be gathered together. Our spiritual bodies will float there in “wind like flight” until His angels gather them and carry them off to the uttermost part of the heavens. They will remain in the air or “soar” there a while before being gathered by His angels. If the translators of this verse would have known its meaning, they would have used the descriptive words the eagle gets its name from; “those of wind like flight,” instead of the name “eagle” itself. All of this is validated farther down in verse 31. The new translations would have got it right if they weren’t trying to translate from corrupted texts or using the word that fits “their” personal interpretation of what the verse means.
Matthew 24:29 (KJV)
Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
“Immediately after the tribulation of those days;” (Please see the Post on the main web page address Matthew 24: Signs of the End to find the period of time this refers to and why there is NO 7 year tribulation period.)
“The Sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,” While this is the exact description of a solar eclipse, that is not what is meant here. “The Sun shall be darkened” is also the description of an event that takes place every day, 365 days a year during the evening hours when the Sun goes down. This is going to sound like an oversimplification to many but all this is telling us is that the rapture will take place at night after the sun goes down, but this will not be just any ordinary night!
“The moon shall not give her light“ tells us which night. This is the description of the “new moon” phase which happens once every 29½ days. This occurs when the moon is on the daylight side of the earth and the backside of the moon is toward the sun. Because the side of the moon we see does not receive sunlight, the moon is not able to be seen by us. This is called the “new moon.” Since the Jews go by a lunar calendar each “new moon” begins a new calendar month. The Feast of Trumpets is also called the “New Moon” in Jewish tradition because it is the only feast held on the first day or “new moon” of the month. The ‘new moon’ is mentioned many times in the Bible, but most Christians have no idea that it refers to the “Feast of Trumpets;” which just happens to be a 2-day feast representing the Rapture (Day 1) followed immediately by the Day of the Lord. (Day 2) The first part of this verse is simply stating that the Rapture will occur at night on the night of the “New Moon,” but this still does not complete what the “sign of the Son of Man” is. This is the first indication in this chapter that tells us the Rapture will happen on the Feast of Trumpets which is Tishri 1 on the Hebrew calendar.
“And the stars shall fall from heaven:” This cannot be taken literally as stars cannot literally fall from heaven. This verse is telling us that the light from the stars is going to appear and then disappear; making it seem as though they fell from the sky. What would cause such an event? Did you ever stand under a street light at night and notice that when you looked up toward the sky you could not see the stars because the brightness of the street light was the brighter light? That’s why we do not see the stars in the sky during the day; the Suns brightness outshines that of the stars. It is this same type of thing that is going to happen during the Rapture as our Lord finishes the explanation of the “Sign of the Son of Man” in the next part of the phrase.
“And the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:” If taken literally this would have something to do with light, gravitational pull, or electromagnetic fields; but which one? God’s Word does furnish us with the real meaning of this verse; however, we must go all the way back to the book of Genesis when God made the sun and the moon. In God’s plan, it is revealed in such a way that one needs to know the beginning before one can know the end! This is literally our Great Lord “Declaring the end from the beginning!”
Genesis 1:16-18 (KJV)
16 And God made two great lights; the greater light (sun)to rule the day, and the lesser light (moon) to rule the night: he made the stars also.17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
Here He is making it clear that the power must be that of light. The Sun or “greater light” has power or rules over the day, and the moon, the “lesser light” rules over the night. The verse says power(s) of the heavens plural; so it is the power of both these rulers that will be shaken. Remember, this is happening on the “New Moon” when the moon is on the same side of the Earth as the Sun, so the moon will not be shedding its light on dark side of the earth. This means that something else will have to be providing light that makes the stars fall from heaven. Since the Sun rules over the day and it is on the same side of the earth as the moon during the ‘New Moon,” its power can only be shaken if:
- The sun goes dark. This cannot be for 2 reasons.
- We would all be dead within minutes.
- He told us in verse 27 that the “coming of the Son of Man” would be bright shining going from east to west like the sun.
- Something else causes it to be bright shining on the night side of the earth. It cannot be the sun because the sun cannot be on both sides of the earth at the same time.
So if everything we have said so far is correct, what could it possibly be that is shaking the powers of the heavens by lighting up the dark side of the earth? You have probably figured it out for yourself by now, but if not, there is a chapter in Revelation that describes this event. Our Lord spelled out this same scenario for us in Isaiah 24:23, Zechariah 14:7 and the beginning of Revelation 18:1&4; but it seems that no one has ever connected them with the Rapture. There is always more than one witness to any event given in the Word of God. (Note: Whenever Revelation says “Another angel” it is almost always, if not always, referring to our humble Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.)
Revelation 18:1,4 (KJV)
And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. 4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
John 8:12 (KJV)
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. (And you thought this verse was only figurative!)
You learned in the Parable of the 10 Virgins that the cry will be made at midnight, which would be the evening before the Feast of Trumpets. That is the time the process will start. That is not to say that it will be the exact time you will be raptured. Remember, this is going to happen at the same speed as the rotation of the earth which has 24 different time zones. The beauty of this methodology is that by doing it this way the time of Rapture will be approximately the same hour of time no matter where His Saints are. This will take up the entire first day of the Feast of Trumpets. It will end with the blowing of the 7th trumpet and over the next 24 hour period, “The Day of the Lord,” will be announced all over the Earth “
Revelation 11:15 (KJV)
And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever.
Matthew 24:30 (KJV)
And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
Item 6: Answer to what the “Sign of the Son of Man is.”
It will be bright as day in the middle of the night.
Now you know the “Sign of the Son of man” will be the evening of September 20th going into the early morning of the “Feast of Trumpets” which is the feast of the “New Moon.” The sun will go down and the stars will appear. Sometime after it is totally dark and you see the stars, the horizon will begin to lighten again and the “stars will fall from heaven” as it becomes lighter.
Matthew 24:31 (KJV)
And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
This is your second clue in Matthew 24 that tells us the Rapture will happen during the Feast of Trumpets as this was the only feast known for the trumpet (shofar) blowing. This verse is additional information that was not given in verse 28 that made you do some intuitive thinking. It did not tell us that the dead bodies were those that were transformed to their new spiritual bodies nor did it say it would be the angels gathering the eagles (those of wind like flight) and taking them to the other end of heaven.
The “four winds” refers to the earths “jet streams.” Yes, the earth has four jet streams which play a large part in determining the weather. They blow at an altitude of 30 to 45,000 feet and each hemisphere has a polar and subtropical jet stream. So this means that the raptured saints will be caught up to an altitude of 30 to 45,000 feet where they will float like an eagle (wind like flight) until an angel gathers them and carries them off to the uttermost part of heaven. (Isn’t it amazing how people back in the time of Christ knew about these Jet streams, seeing it’s 1900 years before powered flight?)
Now let’s add Revelation 6:14 to the itinerary, and you will have a pretty completes picture of the operations that will be in motion during the Rapture.
Revelation 6:14 (KJV)
And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
ITEMS 7: What to do after you see the “Sign of the Son of Man”
After you hear the cry and you go out to meet Him, you need to observe the sky in the east where the Sun normally rises. As soon as you see the sky “BEGIN TO LIGHTEN” Luke 21 tells us:
Luke 21:28 (KJV)
And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
Remember, this is a Jewish Wedding which is held under the stars because of the promise that God made to Abraham to make his descendants as numerous as the stars of heaven. So the actual being “caught up to meet Him in the air” will take place when the sky first begins to lighten. The reason for this is that the wedding is held at night, so if too many stars have fallen, it will not be a Jewish wedding.
ITEMS 7: Answer what to do after you see the “Sign of the Son of Man”
“Look up and lift up your heads, your redemption draweth nigh.”
ITEMS 8: What “not” to do after you are Raptured up to the 4 winds.
Luke 17:32 (KJV)
Remember Lot’s wife.
Luke 17:32 reminds us to “Remember Lot’s wife” and do not look back. Also, remember Peter walking on the water when he took his eyes off Jesus and began to sink? A 35,000-foot fall has got to hurt; even if it is a spiritual body!
ITEMS 8: Answer – What “not” to do after you are raptured up to the 4 winds.
Don’t look back, (down)
The Evil Servant that is Totally Ignored
The following verses which appear just before the Parable of the Ten Virgins shows us who our Lord considers to be “evil” servants and what their punishment will be. These verses have been misinterpreted to be literal because it is the only way they can be made to agree with the false teaching that “no one can know the day or hour.” As you will see, these verses are figurative and actually tell you that the ones saying “no one can know the day and hour” are the evil servants. What is to follow may be difficult for the Laodicean Christian to see and accept, but the interpretation here is correct as these same metaphors are used in other parts of scripture, so there is more than one witness as to their accuracy. This is not written to offend any, but it is written to be consistent with what is written in God’s Word. Earlier you read what the punishment was for Jerusalem because they did not know the time of Christ’s visitation; here we are given another example of what will happen to His servant that does not know when his master is returning.
Matthew 24:48 (KJV)
But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
The first thing that must be pointed out here is “if that evil servant shall say in his heart” means that this servant truly believes what is to be stated next.
Before we talk about what is stated next it must be acknowledged this verse is not speaking to the unbeliever that does not know the Lord or does not know anything about the return of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is not the atheist, Muslim, or person with no moral standards that are saying in his heart “my Lord is delaying his return.” It is the Christians of the church of Laodicea.
According to this verse it is the evil servant that says “My lord delayeth his coming.” Strong’s Greek Dictionary shows the Greek word for “delayeth” is chronizō, which means to take time or linger. If you open Webster’s 1913 dictionary you will find in the meaning of “linger” is “to be in suspense.” The word “suspense” according to Webster’s 1913 Dictionary means “a state of uncertainty and expectation.” Does that not describe perfectly the attitude of Christians today in regards to the coming Rapture of His saints? Please, go and verify this in the dictionary. Even if you just take the word “delay,” is this not what many Christians are saying today. “Oh, I just know the Lord is coming soon, but nobody knows when.” If this is not saying that He is delaying; what does? For sure this is a state of uncertainty and expectation!!!!!
Consider the use and meaning of the word “delay.” Let’s suppose your brother from across the country called you and said: “I’m flying in to see you today on Delta Airlines flight 263 at 3 P.M.; so pick me up at the airport.” You arrive at the airport at 3 P.M. and watch for him, but after 3 hours you still do not see him. At what point in time do you say he was delayed? Could you say he was delayed if you had no idea what day, time or flight he was expected? No, you could not. There has to be a known or appointed time before you can say there has been a delay. God knows the appointed time because He set the appointment, and if you love God and are wise and faithful, Matthew 24:45 tells you He will let you know when that appointment is! There have to be 2 entities in order for there to be an appointment! (NOTE: Another problem with the “newer translations.” The words in Matthew 24:45 have been changed enough that you will not be able to understand what I just said. You will need to read the “King James” and find out what is meant here and what the “meat” of the word is.)
Matthew 24:49 (KJV)
And shall begin to smite his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
This verse is not to be taken literally unless you have some Christian friends that are eating and drinking with drunkards and then going out and striking fellow Christians with their hands or some other instrument used to beat people with. It really is ridiculous when you try and take this literally isn’t it? However, if you take it figuratively as it was intended to be taken, you will come up with something very different then what you have been taught.
Strong’s Greek word for “smite” is typtō, which in the figurative sense is “to offend the conscience.” This is straight from Strong’s Greek Dictionary.
“To eat and drink with the drunken” are all metaphors that are used in other places in the Word of God and you need to understand them to know what this verse is saying. In order to be drunk, you have to be drinking too much of something that has alcohol in it. Wine in the Bible is a metaphor for doctrine or teaching which can be good or bad. Waters, seas, rivers, floods all are metaphors for varying peoples in scripture. As you know Jesus first miracle was turning water to the best wine that was served at the wedding. Jesus taught men good teachings and doctrine, so good wine is good for your spiritual health. But if a person has taken in bad doctrine or wrong teachings they are considered to be drunk, stammering about and not knowing what they are doing or saying.
This evil servant is offending the conscience of fellow servants because he has been eating (socializing with) and drinking (swallowing) with the drunken. (Believers of false doctrines or teachings)
So what is this evil servant saying that offends the conscience of the fellow servants? According to the previous verse, he is telling them that the return of their Lord is uncertain and nobody knows when it is going to be. He’s telling them this even though his Lord already gave him the Feast days (appointed times) and just got done telling him in Matthew 24:45 that he would give him more information as the appointed time drew near. However, this verse also states that one needs to be a wise and faithful servant to get this information.
Matthew 24:50 (KJV)
The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
It only stands to reason that if the evil servant is telling other servants that they cannot know the time of their Lord’s return, surely he is going to be surprised when his Lord does return. Please note that the Lord of this servant returns “in a day that he is not looking for him” and “in an hour that he is not even aware of.” As we stated earlier if one would take and turn this verse around and make everything in it positive it would read something like this. “The Lord of the good servant will come in a day that he is looking for him and in an hour that he is aware of. That is NOT to say that he knows the exact time of the night, but that he knows the REAL actual night and is aware of the hour and is anxiously waiting for the cry to be made at midnight.
Matthew 24:51 (KJV)
And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
The “cut him asunder” does not refer to the lashings that were given out for punishment during Roman times as some commentaries suggest. “Asunder” means to “bisect” or “cut in two separate pieces.” This seems quite harsh for being caught off guard when the Rapture takes place. But when one looks at how far off course the church has gone by not heeding the warnings given to the churches and replacing the Word of God with the words of men, (just like the first time He came) maybe the punishment is not that bad. Would our Lord be returning if the church teachings were on target and we were obedient to the things He asked us to do?
The validation our Lord gives us that the servant who does not know the time of his master’s return will be “cut asunder” by his Lord is found in Revelation 14. This clearly takes place after the rapture of all His saints and after the 144,000 are assembled together as shown in verse 1. This means that all the wise and faithful servants that have kept the commandments of their Lord are accounted for, so only the evil servants that were not Raptured or sealed are left. In verse 6 we see the angel flying in heaven and proclaiming the everlasting gospel which would indicate a time for the evil servants to repent and ask forgiveness for their errors. It is obvious that some have realized their error and repented because of what we read next in verse 13:
Revelation 14:13-16 (KJV)
13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labor’s; and their works do follow them. 14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. 15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. 16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped.
This is the cutting asunder of the evil servant of verse 48. There is another reaping that takes place immediately afterword, but this is the reaping of the tares that will be burned because it mentions the angel coming out of the temple that had power over fire. Please take note that just as Matthew 24:50-51 states, it is the Lord of the “evil servant” that cuts him asunder. Revelation 14:14 tells us it is the Son of Man that reaps the “harvest” of the earth with His sickle and verse 17 says it is another angel that reaps the “vine of the earth”.
Revelation 14:17-18 (KJV)
17 And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. 18 And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.
The reaping of the “harvest” of the earth would be those that would still be saved (God’s grace to the “foolish virgins”) and the reaping of the “vine” of the earth would be the tares that will be burned with fire.
“And appoint him his portion.” “Portion” suggests the punishment to this evil servant is not necessarily going to be permanent if he realizes his error and repents. It may just be the punishment for the offense he has perpetrated against His Lord that was not forgiven at the time of the rapture. This is also verification of why it is so important to be found spotless when the rapture occurs and gives further credence to why one needs to know the day and be aware of the hour of Christ’s return.
“And appoint him his portion with the hypocrites.” First, why is Jesus calling these evil servants that don’t know when their Lord is returning “hypocrites”? Could it be because they tell everyone that it is the Lord that provides them with all they need but believe He will not tell them of the most important day of their lives? Could it be because Christ said “Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: which tells us we should know what He is doing and yet almost none that are supposed to be His friends know what He is doing? Could it be because they believe our Lord when He said it is not God’s will that any should perish, and yet they believe that He is going to return as a thief so that He can catch as many people as possible off guard and in sin, so as to ensure that they are in no condition to be partakers in the Wedding of the Lamb? Could it be because we teach the Holy Spirit is the one who reveals to us the light within the pages of the Word of God and yet we read all these new misleading translations because the Word of God is too hard to understand?
“There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” This does not sound good. It actually sounds like Hell except there is no mention of the outer darkness. This may be a clue that it is only a temporary punishment if they repent before they are cut asunder. This will definitely be a time of very deep regret.
Remember, however, it did say the evil servant would be appointed “his portion,” which suggests it is not eternal punishment. As you read in the previous paragraphs, the evil servant will miss the rapture of His saints because he did not know the day and was not aware of the hour of his Lord’s return. The “Day of his Lord” came upon him as “a thief in the night.” Because the evil servant was not aware of the time of his Lord’s return or the “Day of the Lord,” the evil servant will not be enjoying the presence of his Lord for a thousand years, which is the “Day of the Lord.” Is that not a just punishment? Because the evil servant missed the “Wedding Supper of the Lamb” they will spend that time “with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth“ until the millennium is over and the time of the Great White Throne Judgement.
A Time to Meditate
Now, let’s get personal. Do you really believe our Lord told us exactly when to look and what to look for if He did not expect us to know the exact appointed time to be looking? Do you really think he expects us to stay up till midnight every night and look for him? Do you still think with all the times He said “watch ye therefore” He was speaking in a figurative way? Do you still believe the last verse in Mark 13 should be taken figuratively when He said: “Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.” And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.
The book of Revelation reveals to us the exact days of all 3 Fall Feast Days using exact date prophecies. They are built right into the book, with God using the very religion that says “God has no son” to reveal these Feast Days. Not only is there no 7 year tribulation period as we have been erroneously taught, but our Lord who knows the beginning from the end has revealed to us what will happen on each day of the Fall Feast period from Tishri 1 to Tishri 15, from the Feast of Trumpets to the Feast of Tabernacles.
If this has helped you in your understanding of the Wonderful Word of God, Please share it with others; that our Wonderful Lord and Savior might receive the honor, praise and glory He is more than worthy of! There’s not much time left!!
