On the surface Isaiah 14 is a chant against the ancient King of Babylon.  However, if you dig below the surface you will find it to be an extremely important chapter that is key to understanding End Times Bible Prophecy.  This chapter has been greatly ignored and not given the importance it so much deserves.  If it were not ignored the church of today would know who the antichrist of End Times Bible Prophecy REALLY is.  If it was correctly understood Christendom would have recognized the Man of Sin when he appeared in 2014 because they would have been looking for the return of the King of Babylon and not the return of the Roman Empire.  Both of these entities are clearly revealed in Isaiah chapter 14.

In this chapter there is both literal and symbolic translation that can be applied to the King of Babylon of old that conquered Judah; as well as to a future King of Babylon whose domain will cover an area that was once ruled by the ancient King of Babylon.  Even though the ancient King of Babylon is not our main concern in this chapter, it is important to provide some information on him so that you can better understand just how similar and evil these two Kings of Babylon are.

The Babylonian Empire was a large formidable empire, but it only existed a mere 87 years from 626 BC to 539 BC.  It was ruled by 6 different kings with one of them ruling the empire for almost half its existence.  This King was called Nebuchadnezzar and it was he that carried Judah away into captivity.  He is the King  the Jews of Judah had no love for, and that’s putting it mildly.  To the Jews he was known as the Wicked One because he was merciless to those that he conquered.  It is said that when he first carried the Jews into Babylon he did not allow them to rest until they crossed the Euphrates River.  According to the Jewish Encyclopedia he was a breaker of vows and not to be trusted.  In the first year of his rule he subjugated King Jehoiakim.  Four years later King Jehoiakim rebelled and Nebuchadnezzar went down to Jerusalem.  A compact was made and Nebuchadnezzar was let into the city at which time he broke the compact and killed Jehoiakim along with many of the strongest and best people of Jerusalem.  He then took into captivity 5,000 Jews along with 7,000 more from the other tribes.  Eventually he would carry all but the poorest of Judah to Babylon along with all the gold and silver artifacts that were used in Solomon’s Temple.  It’s easy to see why the Jews had no love for the King of Babylon.

The future King of Babylon we are going to concentrate on has already appeared and gone into perdition after a “time, times, and the dividing of time” just as Daniel 7:25 prophesied 2,550 + years ago.   He is the 7th and final king of Babylon as 7 is the number of completeness.  He is the old King of Babylon that is “cast out of the grave like an abominable branch” at the end of days just before the return of our Lord Jesus Christ.  This returned King of Babylon was and is the Man of Sin, the Lawless One, and Satan in the Flesh. Most Christians would refer to him as antichrist, but the “Man of Sin” is far more accurate.

Much of this chapter can also be interpreted as our Lord talking to Satan, who is given the name Lucifer in the King James Bible.  Not only are we given the best description found anywhere in God’s Word telling us who Satan is, but he also reveals to us and to Satan exactly what Satan (the King of Babylon) is going to do in the future.  This chapter also reveals to us the identity of the beast that ascends up from the bottomless pit.  This should be important to you and the whole world as this King of Babylon, who also goes by “The Assyrian,” is here on earth now. He is ruling Syria (Assyria) as we speak, but nobody seems to know or understand this.  To keep this chapter short and cover the subject matter at hand, we will begin at verse 14 where God is exposing the REAL Satan and his anti-Christ followers to us.  By the time you finish this chapter, many things that are happening in this world today should make more sense to you.  Your view of Bible Prophecy should change when you understand the REAL identity of the antichrist. 

Isaiah 14:12 (KJV)

How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

“How art thou fallen from heaven:” This is Bible prophecy predicting the fall of Lucifer (Satan) from heaven.  From Job we know that Lucifer was before God accusing us of sin, but here God is predicting Satan’s fall from heaven.  According to Strong’s Hebrew Dictionary the word Satan is translated to literally mean adversary or to resist and in the figurative use it means to accuse.

O Lucifer, son of the morning:” Like the other names used in the Word of God, they should be paid close attention to because the name describes who the person actually is.  A person’s name is much more than just what they are called; it is who they are; it is their character.  The name Lucifer given here is no different.  The box at right shows us the meaning behind the original Hebrew words used to describe Satan in this verse.  However, there is something odd about this name that most people are probably not aware of. 

The book of Isaiah was written in Hebrew, and the King James Bible was translated from Hebrew into English; yet the word Lucifer is neither English nor Hebrew.  The word Lucifer is 100% Latin; so what is it doing in the King James Bible?  By using Lucifer and son of the morning we are actually being given a double dose as to who Satan really is in end times Bible prophecy. This is because Lucifer and son of the morning really are the same thing. Lucifer in Roman Mythology was the light bearer or light bringer.  The original Hebrew for son of the morning is phonetically translated haylale bane shakhar which in exact word order is “brightness, son, morning” or son of the morning.  What both of these names refers to is the same thing.  The first brightness in the morning is the brightest celestial body in the early morning sky before the sun rises.

Think of it this way.  The Sun is the biggest and brightest object in the sky so in ancient times it was considered to be the “father of light.”  The brightest object in the sky before the Sun rises would be considered to be the lessor light, or the son.  It is the son that brings the brighter, bigger light, the father.  It was these lessor lights, (as well as the Sun) that were worshiped as gods by the ancient civilizations of the Middle-East.  Lucifer actually means light bearer or light bringer; which is the same thing as the Hebrew, son of the morning.

However, the word Lucifer refers to more than one celestial body, because the brightest light in the early morning sky is not always the same celestial body.  The two bodies of light which are the brightest objects in the sky before the sun rises are the Morning Star, which we now know as the planet Venus, and the Moon.  Both of these celestial objects were worshiped as gods in ancient civilizations.  These two celestial objects were worshiped by all the empires of King Nebuchadnezzar’s dream and by all the empires that are alluded to in the book of Revelation.  Lucifer deceived mankind into worshiping him as these celestial objects and took away the worship and praise that belongs to God alone.

“How art thou cut down to the ground:” The ancient King of Babylon being cut down to the ground, can have more than one meaning with both of them being absolutely correct.  These verses are calling the “King of Babylon” Lucifer (AKA Satan), so being cut down to the ground would be referring to the death of the King of Babylon, but this is also foretelling what will happen to Lucifer.  If Lucifer was to fall from heaven and be cut down to the ground, when did it happen and how can we show it? 

As we just mentioned, the Egyptians, Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks and Romans all worshiped the moon, but these kingdoms had different names for this false god.  He was Horus to the Egyptians, Sin to the Assyrians and Babylonians, Artemis to the Greek and Lucifer to the Romans.  The moon (Satan) was worshiped as a god of the heavens in all these empires.  The next empire to rule the Middle-East was the Ottoman (Muslim) Empire.  The name of their god is Allah, but Muslims claim they do not worship the moon or the morning star, and yet the symbols of Allah are the moon and the morning star.  In other words, Lucifer went from being a god of the heavens to being the god that created the heavens; but the demonstration of this does not end there.  The supreme leader of the Muslim world where Islam controls the military, government and individuals is called the Khalifa or Caliph.  The English translation of the Arabic word Khalifa is “substitute, or one who replaces,” so the Caliph is literally the “one who replaces Allah.”  Because he is the “one who replaces Allah,” all Muslims are to give him their allegiance and do exactly what he dictates.  As you can see this sheds an entirely different light on Satan in the Flesh.  This is a very important fact to remember in Bible Prophecy because in the future it will help to discern and expose many things.  Lucifer (Allah) has been cast out of heaven to Earth or “cast down to the ground.”  This actual event is documented in:

Revelation 12:9 (KJV) 

And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

“Which didst weaken the nations” Whenever a nation is deceived by Satan and worships any god besides Jehovah, they have numbered their days.  Without God’s backing a nation cannot stand. Our Lord is in complete control, just as the history of Israel in the Old Testament as well as the history that is revealed in the New Testament shows us.  However, that is not what this verse is telling us. 

Remember, this portion of scripture is not only referring to the ancient King of Babylon, it is also prophecy about a future King of Babylon, and it is this future King who will be “Lucifer” in the flesh.  It is this future king (Caliph) that will deceive the world and weaken the nations.  This is exactly what the current Caliph of Islam and Muslims have been doing for some time now.  Muslims have infiltrated and been taken into countries all over the world.  These nations are uninformed and unaware they have taken into their nations a Trojan horse.  Muslims have caused division and strife in these nations which has weakened them and will continue to weaken them until they fall to Islam. The doctrines of Islam are completely different than the doctrines western nations have been built upon.  In every one of these nations Muslims demand they be allowed to live by their own teachings and Sharia Law.  Muslims are not allowed to pledge allegiance to any nation or anyone except Allah and the Caliph, who is the substitute for Allah on earth.  Allowing them to do this will further weaken any nation because a nation divided against itself will not stand.

Isaiah 14:13 (KJV)

For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven; I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

”For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven:” God, who is omniscience, or all knowing, knows the heart of every man, and knows the heart of Satan.  Satan, in the first of five “I will” statements says “I will ascend into heaven.”  This shows his first mistake was to think himself worthy to abide in God’s domain.  This confirms that all of the celestial bodies; the stars, Moon and Sun, that man has worshiped for thousands of years, were in fact Satan. 

Also in keeping with the Allah/Satan connection, Mohamed, who takes the place of Jesus Christ in Islam, and was the founder of Islam, supposedly ascended into heaven where he was given laws from Allah.  This trip is known as “al-Miraj” which in Arabic means “the ascent.”  One can’t help but notice that the Arabic word “miraj” bears a strong resemblance to the English word “mirage” which is an optical illusion.  

  • SPECIAL NOTE: In both verses 13 and 14 we find Satan proclaiming “I will ascend.” When you look up the original Hebrew word for “I will ascend” in Strong’s Hebrew Dictionary it is “ala.”  Yes, it is spelled differently, but the pronunciation is exactly the same as “Allah.”  This is no coincidence.  God could not have made it clearer as to who Allah really is!

“I will exalt my throne above the stars of God”  Satan makes his second mistake believing he will exalt his throne (himself) above the stars (the best) that God has created.  However this is also confirming what we explained in verse 12; Satan is no longer being worshiped as one of these celestial bodies; Satan is being worshiped as the creator of the heavenly bodies as Allah.  His is going to attempt to exalt his throne above God and His creation.

“I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north” This is an extremely important prophecy which has an impact on many time specific prophecies in the Word of God.  However, the first thing you should notice in this phrase is that it says “I will sit also” and not “I will also sit,” as in meaning it is something else that Satan will also do.  “I will sit also” infers that someone or something else is now or has in the past been sitting on the Mount of the Congregation.   This Mount of the Congregation also goes by the names of Mount Zion, Mount Moriah, the Temple Mount and God’s Holy Mountain.  This is the mountain on which Solomon’s or Jehovah’s first and second temples were built. 

Many commentaries claim this is speaking of a different mountain such as Mount Zaphon also called the Mountain of Baal or commonly known as Jebel al-Aqra in Syria. However, this cannot be correct for one reason, and a very good reason it is. This can be speaking of no other mountain besides God’s Holy Mountain because the original Hebrew word used in this verse for the word congregation is “môʿêd.”  This word is only used when referring to God’s appointed times or appointed assemblies, also known as God’s Feast Days or the “Feasts of the Lord.”  These are the assemblies God commanded Israel to gather and rehearse 3 times during the year. (Passover, Feast of Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, Pentecost, Trumpets, Atonement, and Tabernacles)  The word môʿêd is only used when in connection with meeting times appointed by God. The location where these assemblies took place were on the Temple Mount. The Hebrew word zemān as well as other words are used for assemblies and feasts that are not specifically appointed by God.  This is Satan’s third mistake thinking he deserves to sit where God sits.

Daniel 12:11 (KJV)

And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

Isaiah 14:13 is referring to the same structure this verse calls the “abomination that maketh desolate.”  The Abomination of Desolation is what God calls the temple that belongs to Lucifer which is sitting on the Mount of the Congregation.  This is God’s Holy Mountain and this building which was built for the worship of Lucifer is sitting there right now as we speak.  The rest of the world calls it the “Dome of the Rock.”  It is a Muslim temple that was built in 688 A.D. just as Daniel prophesied, and it brought desolation to Jerusalem and the surrounding area because it was cursed by God.  In future chapters you will be shown this temple was built exactly when and exactly where our Lord told us it would be built.

In the Old Testament God called all the structures that were built on top of hills to honor false gods “abominations,” and thus the title “abomination of desolation” is used in the Bible.  Since this is a temple of Lucifer, the top of the dome bears the symbol of Lucifer, the son of the dawn, the same symbol used by the original King of Babylon, the crescent moon. This is the very same structure God is referring to in four different prophecies in His Word.  It is this very same temple that is alluded to in:

Revelation 11:2 (KJV)

But the court which is without the temple (God’s Temple) leave out and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles:

“In the sides of the north” In the sides of the north of what?  In the sides of the north of God’s Holy Temple that was built on the Mount of the Congregation in Jerusalem.  The animal sacrifices were sacrificed on the north side of the Temple.  Golgotha where Christ was crucified is to the north.  If you get out a map of Jerusalem and locate the Temple mount where the al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock sit; you will see this is another fulfilled prophecy concerning antichrist.  If you look to the north side of the Temple Mount you will see it is the location of the Muslim quarter of Jerusalem.  Islam, the antichrist of end times Bible prophecy, is sitting on the Mount of the Congregation and “in the sides of the north.”

Isaiah 14:14 (KJV)

I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

In the Old Testament God spoke to the Israelite’s through a cloud, and often the temple was filled with a cloud when God was present with them.  “I will ascend above the heights of the clouds” is Satan making his fourth mistake thinking he is actually greater than God. The second part of this verse confirms this and reveals his fifth mistake in thinking he can be like the most high. God has permitted him to believe and act out all of these things through Islam, but they will all come to a screeching halt very soon.  Satan wants to be like the most high in the worst way, so almost everything that God has done, Satan mimics.  God gave us the Bible; Allah gave the Quran. God told us to pray; Allah says to pray 5 times a day.  God gave laws to follow; Allah gives laws to follow.  God’s people meet on the Sabbath; Satan’s people meet on Friday.  God gave prophecy; Allah gave prophecy.  God dispersed His chosen people all over the world; Satan has dispersed his people all over the world.  Many of the stories in the Quran mirror the writings found in the Bible.  For almost everything you find in Islam, you can find a similar thing in the Bible; except the teachings or doctrines being taught by Islam will be different or opposite that which is found in the Word of God; they are anti-Christ. 

Continuing with the Satan/Allah connection with Satan thinking himself greater than God, consider this.  Whenever a Muslim terrorist blows himself up or kills an infidel, they yell out “Allahu Akbar.”  The press has told us this means Allah is great, but this is not exactly true.  It really means Allah is greater or Allah is greatest.  When Mohamed first said this, it was in reference to Allah being greater than the other 353+ gods the Arab tribes were worshiping; but that was long ago and now those other gods are forgotten.  Now it means that Allah is greater than the God of the Jew and the Christian.  God revealed to us in prophecy exactly what this antichrist would say:

Revelation 13:5 (KJV): 

And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies.  (Great things = Allahu Akbar – Allah is Greatest, which is certainly a blasphemy against God.”

Isaiah 14:15 (KJV)

Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

Keeping in mind that the King of Babylon is actually “Satan in the flesh” or as many like to call him the “antichrist,” this is God saying he is going to hell, but only down to the sides of the pit.  Special attention needs to be given this unusual statement.  When one is thrown into a pit it is highly irregular to land or end up on the side of the pit and not the bottom.  This is a clear indication the King of Babylon will be emerging out of the pit sometime in the future, as is confirmed to us in verse 19. This has already happened, but because the interpretation of current day Bible prophecy is so far off, Christendom is totally unaware of it.

Isaiah 14:16 (KJV)

They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;

“They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee”  If you go to Strong’s Hebrew Dictionary and take a look at the original Hebrew word for narrowly you will find the word “shāgaḥ” which is to glance.  Webster’s English Dictionary defines glance as: “a quick cast of the eyes; a quick or a casual look; a swift survey; a glimpse.”  

As you can see from this verse, this so called antichrist the Man of Sin is not going to be this great man, ruler of half the world as Christendom has been taught to believe.  From the way Webster defines it, this guy will be noticed, but it will only be in passing.  Even though He is going to be the Man of Sin, the world is not going to take him to be all that serious of a threat.  This is precisely what happened in the case of ISIS.  The then President of the United States, Barack Obama, referred to Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and his band of terrorists as the “JV Team.”   Essentially he was classifying them as 2nd, 3rd, or 4th rate.  Abu Bakr, the Man of Sin was given so little attention during the Obama administration that his dominion actually grew and expanded a great deal during it.  Instead of using military rules of engagement, military people joked that Obama had them using rules for a wedding engagement.  When Donald Trump came into office, the wedding engagement was off and ISIS lost their Babylonian Caliphate.  As will be covered later, ISIS went into perdition (destruction) and returned in control of Syria; Just as prophesied in the Word of God.

“Saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms”  ISIS; under their new Caliph, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi;  ruled as the healed head of the beast (Islam) that suffered a wound to the head. Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi caused the world to tremble with all the horrendous murders he performed.  He did this by broadcasting these beheadings all over the internet for the whole world to see.  He ordered Muslims all over the world to kill people of the military and police, as well as Christians and Jews in foreign countries.  He has caused world leaders to constantly improve their security procedures which made traveling from nation to nation an absolute nightmare, hated by almost all who travel.  Abu Bakr committed genocide on a very large scale.  The bloodshed is so great that even some of his own terrorist fighters escaped the region because they were unable to stomach all the bloodshed; and yet the whole world has for the most part ignored him.  He has taken credit for multiple murders of citizens of many different countries, but retaliation has been almost non-existent.  Had any other country other than an Islamic one taken credit for these mass murders, a declaration of war would have been a few days if not hours in coming.

Isaiah 14:17 (KJV)

That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners.

“That made the world as a wilderness” By definition the wilderness is an inhospitable place.  It is unfriendly and harsh and difficult to live in.  This is exactly what Islam has brought to this world ever since its inception.  Its history is one of conquering and death.  The proof is undeniable.  Everywhere you find Islam you will find difficulty, deception, destruction and death. As was just mentioned, traveling is becoming much more difficult.  Every time they learn of a new threat from ISIS they change the rules as to what you can and cannot bring on the plane or what you have to take off at the airport.  The people of Israel live under constant threat of a missile coming down on their heads.  People in many once free countries now have places in their cities that are designated “no go” zones where their very own citizens cannot go and know they will come out alive.

When you take into consideration the genocide, atrocious murders and bombings that happen on an almost weekly basis, you have the exact description of what Abu-Bakr and Islam have brought and will continue to bring to this world.  This was especially true of the land area this “Satan in the flesh” once ruled.

“And destroyed the cities thereof” This is another precise description of Abu Bakr of ISIS and Islam, the religion he represents.  Muslims have always been destroyers.  In the past when Muslims conquered a city, they destroyed any and everything that did not fit in with the world of Islam.  The present day world saw this demonstrated first hand when ISIS was filmed destroying churches, ancient structures, and 2500 year old artifacts that were priceless and irreplaceable.  This will be expounded on later in verse 20.

Isaiah 14:18 (KJV)

All the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, everyone in his own house.

It was the customary practice for all kings to be buried in their own mausoleum instead of with their family.  To be buried in a separate sepulcher other than that of the family was a sign of greatness.

Isaiah 14:19 (KJV)

But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcass trodden under

“But thou art cast out of thy grave” is a second witness telling us in the future this king of Babylon will be making a comeback from the grave as well as the side of the pit.

NOTE: This returned Babylonian Kingdom that is cast out of the grave is the “beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit” of Revelation 11:7 and answer to the riddle of the“beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth,” of Revelation 17:11.

“Like an abominable branch.” In the Bible trees are used as metaphors for different nations.  For example, God refers to Israel as a green Olive Tree, and Lebanon as a Cedar.  This would make the branches to be various ethnic or tribal groups within that nation.  According to Webster’s 1913 Dictionary, if the branch is abominable, it is speaking of a group of people that are detestable, hateful; and causing moral revulsion.  That would make this a very evil branch of the nation or peoples he represents.      

“And as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword that go down to the stones of the pit.”  When the King of Babylon, (AKA Satan in the flesh) is cast out of the pit he will literally look like Hell; meaning he should be easily recognized because he will be the look of death.  In other words, detestable.  This refers more to the things he will do and not the way he will dress.  Things he will do such as the many horrible ways he found to murder people.  He started out with beheading people and then went to crucifixion, followed by burying alive and burning alive.  Not to leave out the forcing of people off tall buildings, and the teaching and use of young children to execute people. 

“As a carcass trodden under feet” Those that were thrust though with a sword and died were buried with stones over them, but this guy (King of Babylon, Son of Perdition) was not buried, just walked on, or over.  Since he fled his domain in 2017, he is not even noticed or missed.  However, just like the ancient King of Babylon, he is going to make a comeback.  (This is also prophesied to happen in the Quran.)

Isaiah 14:20 (KJV)

Thou shalt not be joined with them in burial, because thou hast destroyed thy land, and slain thy people: the seed of evildoers shall never be renowned.

“Thou shalt not be joined with them in burial” Kings and princes are buried together in royal cemeteries, but this future King of Babylon will not be because he’s hated by his own people and….

“Because thou hast destroyed thy land, and slain thy people” This future King of Babylon destroys his land and kills his own people.  The words destroyed and slain are underlined because they are keys to identifying who the REAL King of Babylon is.  Earlier we mentioned the videotaping of ISIS destroying buildings and priceless ancient artifacts.  In addition to this he is also guilty of committing mass genocide by killing almost all the Christians and anyone else that will not convert to Islam and pledge allegiance to him.  There are even cases of those that went to fight for ISIS who left (escaped) because they thought it wrong for him to be killing other Muslims.

“The seed of evildoers shall never be renowned.” Meaning those that are evil will not be allowed to be distinguished or celebrated.  He may have been recognized and celebrated by many of the Islamic religion, but there will be an end to him and he will not be celebrated in the future. 

Isaiah 14:21 (KJV)

Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers; that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world with cities.

“Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers” Ready the slaughter of his children because of the sins their father has committed.  This may not sound just to us, but this was practiced in times past.  The children being prepared for slaughter tells us that this will be the end of his reign, it will not be allowed to continue because there will be none of his offspring left alive to sit on his throne.  Originally this would have referred to Belshazzar’s children but now at this point in time it refers to Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi who is Satan in the flesh. His children would probably not only refer to his children by birth, but also those who have pledged allegiance to him, and those that bow to Allah or other false gods.  If you are not one of God’s children, subject to the REAL King of Kings, then you are a child of Satan and you need to pay special attention to the next part of this verse.

“That they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world with cities”  Satan’s children are to be killed so that they will never again come to power and rule the land or populate the world with cities.  None of Satan’s children will ever be allowed to sit on the throne.  God also put a limit as to how large he would allow this beast of Islam to grow. 

Revelation 6:8 (KJV)

And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

As will be demonstrated in the coming chapters, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is the pale horse, the 4th Horseman of the Apocalypse.  His name is “death” and Hell was WITH him.  He is “Satan in the flesh” and power was given unto THEM (in the plural meaning Abu Bakr and Satan) over a forth part of the earth.  If you look up the total number of Muslims living on earth right now you will see it is extremely close to one fourth or 25% of the earth. This is as large as our Lord is going to allow the Muslim population on this earth to become.  This in itself should tell you that the time of our Lord’s return is very near.

Isaiah 14:22 (KJV)

For I will rise up against them, saith the LORD of hosts, and cut off from Babylon the name, and remnant, and son, and nephew, saith the LORD. 

“For I will rise up against them, saith the LORD of hosts”  The LORD of the armies, which in this case could very well mean the armies from heaven, is going to rise up against this last Babylon, (False religion and worshipers of Satan) and destroy it.

“And cut off from Babylon the name, and remnant, and son, and nephew, saith the LORD” The Lord will cut off their name meaning authority and memory, and anything that remains of it. Cutting off the son and nephew would refer to all males in the lineage that would be able to claim the throne; guaranteeing this evil kingdom becomes extinct and never raises its ugly head again.

Isaiah 14:23 (KJV)

I will also make it a possession for the bittern, and pools of water: and I will sweep it with the besom of destruction, saith the LORD of hosts.

“I will also make it a possession for the bittern” The bittern is a hedgehog. A hedgehog is a small animal that searches through hedges and other undergrowth in search of the small creatures that compose the bulk of their diet—insects, worms, centipedes, snails, mice, frogs, and snakes.  They have sharp quills like a porcupine and live a solitary life except when mating.

“And pools of water” Pools of water could be literal, but since this is prophecy it should be taken as a metaphor meaning only small gatherings of people.  Throughout Bible prophecy different categorizations of water refers to people, such as seas, rivers and floods.  In keeping with the hedgehog which leads a very solitary life, this would mean the land will be very sparsely populated.

“And I will sweep it with the besom of destruction, saith the LORD of hosts” The Lord of the armies will sweep it with a broom of destruction, meaning that all the dirt (evil ones) will be swept away.

Isaiah 14:24 (KJV)

The LORD of hosts hath sworn, saying, surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand:

This is stating that even The Lord of hosts thoughts are going to come to pass, not to mention all that which He has sworn and purposed.  What the Lord says, He will do; meaning that what He says is as good as done!  The rest of this book will substantiate our Lords batting would put Hugh Duffy’s record single season batting average to shame.  Hugh Duffy’s 1894 record batting average was .440, while our Lord has been batting 1000 percent for millenniums!

Isaiah 14:25 (KJV)

That I will break the Assyrian in my land, and upon my mountains tread him under foot: then shall his yoke depart from off them, and his burden depart from off their shoulders.

Just as the King of Babylon is another name for the Man of Sin and Son of Perdition, so is the Assyrian.   Just as it was in the previous section about the King of Babylon, these verses regarding the Assyrian also hold a double fulfillment.  God wiped out 185,000 of the Assyrian Army when they were going to attack Jerusalem shortly after Hezekiah became king.  This surely had to help contribute to the fall of the Assyrian Empire even though the history books try to give mice and rodents the credit for the army’s destruction.  This scenario is going to play out again in the future with the same outcome.  The borders of Israel are going to be compromised, but God is going to step in and tread the invaders under foot, taking the burden off from Israel’s shoulder.

However, this does not speak of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

Isaiah 14:26 (KJV)

This is the purpose that is purposed upon the whole earth: and this is the hand that is stretched out upon all the nations.

It should be obvious that this is speaking of sometime in the future, since the Lord has not done to the whole earth what He did to the Assyrians during the time of the Assyrian Empire. What God is saying here is that what He once did to the Assyrians, he will one day perform on the whole earth.  This is referring to Revelation 14:14-20 when the earth is reaped twice.  This would also take in the time when the vials full of the wrath of God are going to be poured out when He judges this world.  No matter how you slice it, there is not going to be much left alive when He judges the world; and as this book will demonstrate, it is but a very short time before this takes place.
